Poor showing last week guys. 53 replies? Just feel bad about yourselves, no pat on the back. Just punches to the face. I need 54 replies or you are all dead.

Anyway, looking like a good week. Hope my Giants get it done again!

Lol Giants, only NFC East team to win. As much as I'm sure you two love your Giants, The Skins and Cowboys are going to give you a run for your money.

I think Detroit game def lived up. Too much turnovers tho. Cincinnati embarrassed the Jets

I think we both understand the hill our team needs to climb. Eagles, Skins, Cowboys, Giants are all in it. 2 games behind isn't the worst spot to be in. I'm just happy its only 2 games and we are 2-6 (!!!)

Yea totally, it's exciting, on the other hand it's pretty sad how quickly the west and east have flipped in the past couple seasons.

I still can't get over than Lions game today.

I wanna see Ponder do well. He doesn't have to be Brady or Manning but would like to see him close games and gain some confidence, not for himself, but for his city. Freeman might be the answer after the off season but really he is not better than Cassel. Wasted 3 mil imo, not saying he isn't good but he isn't the answer. Never know tho I suppose

The Giants are two games back. I am enjoying this right now lol. I can't believe after winning two straight games that we are only two games back in the NFC East. Also, I really like Patrick Hillis. He is just a rugged, hard running guy that plays hard. I think the Giants needed that. I do wish they'd run Cox more, but the positive is we may get Wilson back after the bye week.

@Vikings Game- Wow this game is good so far. I really like how Ponder is stepping up into the situation he was presented with.

The run Peterson made was ridiculous towards the end of the half. He had pure determination.

I really wonder how much they use change up guys like David wilson and Cox though. It seems Coughlins gonna give Hillis the load and just make him beat his way through the line. Wilson has play making ability that maybe only Cruz and JPP have. Those are the only big play guys I think are x factors.

I don't like the comparisons they've been making this week with Dez Bryant and Megatron. It's not even close right now imo. Megatrons gonna go to the Hall if he keeps this pace to his 30's I have no doubt. I mean the only thing he lacked his first few years was a proper or even average QB to get him the ball. The only reason the numbers might be similar is because Dez has Romo and Calvin had to put up with over half a dozen QB's before Stafford finally had a full healthy season. Jon kitna, Culpepper, Shaun Hill were all great at some point but in Detroit they weren't in their best years. Stafford was Drafted and didn't stay on the field for 16 games until his breakout 2011 year. If you start Calvin Johnsons numbers From 2011 to now they're not so close

Megatron 265 receptions-Dez Bryant 200 receptions, Megatron 4,466 yards- Dez Bryant 2,951 yards

Only stat that is close is the Touchdowns, megatron- 28, Dez Bryant 29
Anyway, Don't wanna flood the topic with this, maybe I will make a topic about it but nevertheless. At this point, just by stats Calvin Johnson is better and they're eons away from even being compared. A man who loves and respects his father by honoring him when he broke records and always having him at games VS a boy who hit his mother and disrespects his teammates and organization left and right.

Dont make a topic about Dez vs Megatron, there isn't anything to discuss.

I saw at the end of the game how Dez Bryant and Jason Witten were fighting each other. Does anyone know why they were fighting? Either way, Cowboys choke big time in the fourth quarter. It might be their curse with Tony Romo as their quarterback, but hey I'm not complaining. I felt like the Lions were better that game anyway. They deserved to win. I was so happy about Mathew Stafford taking initiative. It made me laugh so much how he jumped over the pile to get the touchdown.

I felt bad for the Vikings last night especially Adrian Peterson. I feel like the Vikings quarterback situation is a mess, and this is why they are not going to go anywhere in that division until they straighten it out. If Ponder had stayed in these past couple of weeks, he would have done a better job. They can't expect a quarterback to get rhythm if they are constantly changing personnel.

Man...It is tough, really tough to support the Cowboys every year.

Just to clarify, I'm a Ravens fan first and foremost, but the Cowboys have so many players that I love, so I support them

But anyway....when their defense lets the Lions drive 80 motherf***ing yards in 40 seconds, and then let MATTHEW STAFFORD run it in? Give up 329 YARDS to one receiver, I don't care if it's Calvin Johnson! 329!?!?!?! When they force four turnover?? And only capitalize on one, and even that because Sean Lee brought it back to the four. When Romo completes less than 50% of his passes against one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL surrounded by Dez, Witten?

I just can't comprehend how a team as talented on the offensive side of the ball like the Cowboys has these kinds of meltdowns offensively.

It's simple Hurry. As a sports fan of many teams like real madrid, new york rangers, new york mets, new york giants, etc, I have known one thing. All these teams have purchased all-star lineups that were said to be the best and invincible, and all those times they were wrong. When you have too many great players/too many egos on the team, it never ends well. I have seen this way too many times as a new york fan. It just doesn't work for whatever reason. A team can do better when a few stars more-so than an all star team.

Dez was angry about not being thrown to enough. I guess he was voicing his frustrations and Witten heard him and got ticked off which would probably explain their fighting. I like it when the Cowboys are a mess :p

I personally believe Dez had every right to be upset about not getting the ball. He is far and away the best receiver on that team. When he's caught three balls, two for TD's against one of the worst passing defenses in the NFL, he has a right to be upset.

Romo needs to understand that Dez having the ball gives them a better chance to win than someone like Terrence Williams or Jason Witten..

Was he open though? I mean it's a bit unfair to say that he should have been thrown to more if he isn't open. I am sure Tony Romo knows how good Bryant is. At the same time, he looked like he was arguing with Witten who has been on the team for a long time now.

Well see the thing is with the Cowboys, you cannot double up Dez. If you double up on Dez, Witten will beat you. If you double up both, you got nobody to cover Terrance Williams or you can run the ball.

As for whether Dez was open....http://nfl.si.com/2013/10/27/dez-bryant-catch-dallas-cowboys-detroit-lions/

Dez was upset at the team, saying they should've been trying harder on the 4th quarter because they gave lions a chance to win it. Witten and Ware were both just calming him down telling him to get ready because we might still have a chance to get back on the field and try again

And honestly you can't argue what Dez was doing. I have no problem with him being the way he is in this circumstance. The Cowboys stopped trying and didn't close out the game ONCE AGAIN. Yes, he wasn't thrown to enough. As great as witten is, you have a better home run shot at Dez. I mean it doesn't even matter if he was clearly open. Megatron has 2-3 people over him in nearly every play and he was thrown to 18 times. While Dez caught 2 tds with 3 receptions and he was certainly in double coverage as well.

I'm a Raven fan first too so from an outside perspective and a hardcore Megatron Admirer, I commend Dez for his efforts. It just came out the wrong way sunday afternoon.
