Why did Dr. Gero not create himself to be the "Ultimate Warrior"?

The problem is, some things just don't have an in universe explanation because it's so blatantly obvious and stupid. There's absolutely no reason why Dr. Gero would not make himself the strongest and employ other "robots" when he could just make himself strong. He would at least make himself stronger than he DID in the story, but why didn't he? There's no answer to that question.

Using logic you can deduct this. He created androids out of HUMANS. He was a human too. If he can make 17 and 18 so strong, there's no logical reason why he can't do it to himself.

Tell me that's not 100% plot.
Then ignore the thread and stop being an a***. You have added nothing to this conversation.


Gero probably felt that the absorption model was safer. I think I recall him saying 19 was more reliable, but that might have been because he was an actual android, idr.
