Hey guys I have looked up for this a lot recently I'm currently collecting the dbz manga and it cam up on my mind because I saw the quote of shonen jumb for being the "worlds most popular manga so i was wondering and wanted to discuss with all of you if those thinks: -Is DBZ the most popular manga right now? -Is it on overall? -Does the DBZ manga overall sales surpasse any others do you think another manga could reclaim its throne?thats some thinks I would like all of is to say Please discuss

Google Chrome Favourite Manga Naruto, One Piece, Hajime no Ippo, Bakuman, FMA Brotherhood	I don't know about the manga sale statistics or anything like that but I highly doubt that DBZ is the most popular manga right now. It was obviously the best at one point but right now there's Hunter Hunter,, Naruto, One Piece, Bleach (I don't read Hunter Hunter or Bleach but i've heard things ) I'd say that DBZ is one of the most popular mangas of all time though
	I'm just a piece of trash.. but there are things I learned. The hole in your heart is something other people can fill. If you reject your friends' feelings and this world.. Just because something didn't go as you wished, no one will ever come to you. And so that hole won't be filled either, if you just run away without doing anything people won't do anything for you either.. As long as you don't give up, you can still be saved

People like me and most people on this forum could say they prefer DB because of nostalgia. My opinion is that DB is still a legendary manga, and was the most popular of its time, and is still very much loved today, but I think that One Piece has surpassed it in overall popularity. I still prefer DB though

Due to the popularity that it sustained over the years, it is the top-selling manga series of all time, beating out Astroboy, Akira, Naruto, One Piece, and Bleach. So even though it's not the most popular now, it is the highest grossing of all time not only because of how many other shonen series have been inspired from it, but because of how long it's been around. Not trying to make excuses, but this chart is from a year ago. DB undoubtedly sold more than before with the release of Battle of Gods. Probably not as much as One Piece, but it's still up there. It's only sold that much because of the sheer number of volumes it has. Also as for the sales, I doubt Battle of Gods would do anything for sales, nothing that would make it catch up to One Piece at all. One Piece sells over 10 million volumes a year, there's no way the new movie is bringing in those kind of numbers, especially for such an iconic series that the vast majority would already be fans of anyway.

It's a fact. One Piece has been going on way longer than Dragon Ball and has over 65 volumes. It also has a better story. It is known as the greatest manga of all time due to sales and popularity.
