After Goku blasted Cell with his Warp Kamehameha - blowing Cell's upper half off and only leaving his lower body left - what could Goku have done to finish Cell off for good if he knew Cell was going to regenerate soon?

Nothing. He nearly exhausted all.of his power with that blast. It was evident when he tried fighting Cell after it how hopeless he was. Keep in mind, the power that was in Cell's lower body after getting blasted is equal to the power that he beat down Goku with immediately after. Goku probably knew this and knew it was hopeless.

Could've told Gohan to finish him off before he regenerates had he expected that

Cell wasn't even following the rules of his own logic.

They had no chance at this point. Gets his head (and thus nucleus) destroyed, pops right back up, They could probably have obliterated his entire body and he'd somehow come back with his hax.

I agree with Brofist here I don't think they could destroy him in the first place but if they somehow manage to do it then Cell would return again in my opinion ^_^

Unless he is able to shift his nucleus, but that is pure conjecture.

I always had a problem with this; where in the manga does it show Cell's nucleus being destroyed by Goku's Kamehameha?

Cell states he needs his nucleus to regenerate

Cell states says nucleus is inside his head.

Said head plus a good portion of his upper body is eradicated.

Statements above+Regeneration=Contradiction.

You're post is also the equivalent of me saying "We didn't see Gohan destroy Cell's nucleus in the manga."

Nothing. It was plot that brought Cell back.

I looked it up since i already dug my manga out for that Buu thread anyway, it happens in chapter five of volume 34, on page 6. It just shows Cell's head stretching, then being vaporized, but doesn't focus on the nucleus. So I guess logic would say it was vaporized with the head, but maybe not, since it wasn't focused on (a la Cell's final destruction). I think you just have to give Toriyama a break on that one.

We can't just make some excuses about this,Cells regenaration was a plothole even SPC confirmed later on that he's nucleus were on he's head and we saw the head getting blew up lol

You're right, but I'm just tired of fighting about plot holes after that Buu saga debate. I'm just staying out of Buu threads from now on. I think the only explanation has to be that it's a plot hole, or he can move the nucleus around his body and had enough time to do that. So, probably a plot hole, but Cell is a cool villain so I give AT a pass for it.

I know my friend its okay :) however he can't move he's nucleus Imo he stated by himshelf that the nucleus are at he's head alone if its got blow up then no regenaration lol so its a plothole most likely but I don't really care its okay for me
