Posts: 1,078 Group: Member Member #8,530 Joined: November 6, 2012	Frieza's guilty pleasure was wanting to have a son. He was in control of Vegeta's life since he was a little boy. He practically raised him and made him what he became, often letting the kid go along side him in top-tier missions. I know none of that is true But I do think he cared about Vegeta, or atleast respected him like his other right hand man like Zarbon who he would refer to as mr. in the manga.

Though, it was only a matter of time until Freeza had to kill Vegeta since Vegeta had the potential to get really strong. Freeza took him in, allowed him to live and continue his Saiyan ways(under more orders, of course), and spoiled him in a way. As long as Vegeta stayed weaker than Zarbon(who would stay a loyal punk his entire life under Freeza) and obeyed, he could have lived for a long time and continue to receive the care that Freeza gave him.

Vegeta wasn't even among his top 10 strongest soldiers before the series. I think Freeza is just a manipulator. He cared about the web of manipulation and lies he weaved, not the people they impacted. The greatest evidence for this is Vegeta's tearful death and Freeza's anger at Vegeta's rebellion. He effectively unweaved his web with his death and speech to Goku.

Chrome Favourite Manga Dragon Ball, Bleach	I imagine that he admired Vegeta's ruthlessness, but caring about him? Not likely at all. Freeza doesn't give half a sht about any of his minions, with the possible exception of the Ginyus. He at least seemed angry/annoyed when he realized that they were all dead; he only cared about them on a practical level though (if they're around, I don't have to get off my lazy a** for anything at all!).
