Posts: 7 Group: New Member Member #10,339 Joined: October 11, 2013 Favourite Anime Dragon Ball Z	Hey guys. I'm just making this topic to see if anyone on here is in to text-based RPGs. I am currently hosting a server on a program called OpenRPG for a Dragonball Z game. The game has been around for about 10 years but faded away a few months ago. I'm in the process of trying to start it back up, but that requires players! The details: The DBZ RPG is a 'persistent world' which means the server will be up 24/7 and players can go in-character and interact at any time. The GMs will also be running events/storylines for the players to be involved in as well. The main difference between Neo DBZ and any other online text-based RPG is that the program it is hosted on (OpenRPG, a FREE virtual tabletop) allows dice rolling. As such characters can fight/spar and use dice to engage in combat. We already have a very in-depth Players Handbook for the game with full details on building a character and leveling up. The Handbook includes almost every significant race from the DBZ series/movies as well as over 100 powers/techniques. The game really is a blast to play and it has such a wide variety of options to build/improve your character. Clearly everyone on here loves the DB/Z/GT(maybe not so much) series, so if you're a fan of any kind of Roleplaying Games I strongly suggest you check out Neo DBZ Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/NEODBZRPG OpenRPG: http://www.rpgobjects.com/index.php?c=orpg (very easy to download) Once you download/install OpenRPG you will find Neo DBZ on the server list. Hopefully making a topic for this game isn't against the rules.. I'm only advertising because it's a really fun, and free, RPG and the more players we can get the better it will become Again, OpenRPG and Neo DBZ are completely free!
