Do you think he had a picture of Cell's forms on his computer, plans, or something like that since he designed Cell from the start?

I believe Dr.Gero put every last bit of thought into Cell's creation: transformations, method of absorption etc. etc. Why leave the look of your creation to chance? On one hand, Dr. Gero knew that Cell had to absorb exactly those 2 certain androids for him to reach his ultimate form. How could Gero know that? He must've had some kind of image, he must've known how Cell's body exactly worked. Also Gero has an intelligent mind, he might just be the most intelligent person in the DBZ Universe. On the other hand, how could Gero possibly know what he'd look like. He made a Bio-Android out of a bunch of cells made form humans, saiyans and other aliens. It would turn out to be a monster, how could Gero possibly know what that monster would look like once he absorbed two certain machines... Very two-sided this story, but I'd like to believe that he did knew.

I think that yes Dr Gero is the one who actually made Cell so I believe he would know how he's design would have been in each form like Semi perfect Perfect but I still have doubts about the SPC form which he just have some spark on him I dunno about that ....

Gero was an absolute genius, so I think even things that seem impossible may not be for him. He was responsible for creating all of the androids, including the ones Cell had to absorb. It was his master plan to make Cell perfect, and he was basically just using the androids as dummies. They were just pawns in his greater plan. Knowing this, since Gero is very knowledgable in the composition of his androids, I think he would be able to make a hypothesis about how Cell would react when he would absorb the androids.

Let's remember that Gero knew this would take a lot of time so he left the majority of the job to that super computer. He was surprised that Goku went SSJ, so he couldn't have known about Frieza; if he didn't know about Frieza and Cold, he couldn't possibly know exactly how Cell would look since Cell would obviously inherit some of Frieza's looks. I say he didn't have a clue how Cell would look, he just came up with the idea, hoped to steal DNA from the best fighters on the planet, and hope for the best; leaving it all to that computer.

I'd like to believe that Gero designed Cell's over-all appearance, but we need to factor in the fact that DNA doesn't really work that way. It's similar to cloning. You can clone your dog, and the clone can be genetically identical to your original dog, but that doesn't mean that they'd look the same or even have the same personality. Genes work in odd ways, and some genes would be dominant while others wouldn't be, regardless if you'd want them to be dominant or not. Edited by Ketchup Revenge, Oct 20 2013, 03:51 PM.
