This would be more impressive if he was on a crappy team. The 49ers had a solid team and a solid offense for Smith to be good on. If he was on a bad team, Kaepernick wouldn't have had any easy time filling in. The Chiefs always had star players, but they didn't have a good enough quarterback to make them work out right. Andy Reid is also a great head coach so I put that into perspective as well. Alex Smith is a good quarterback, but don't give him all the credit. @Volt- I want the Giants to get many draft picks just so they can make the team much younger. In actuality, our players have gotten much older and so it's time to rebuild. With more draft picks, we can start to put some much needed youth on the team. @Hurry- It seemed to me that they were joking. I found it quite funny because it was true. There is nothing else they can do. They are trying to make light of a dark moment. Regardless, I hope Wilson comes back soon so he can have some spark on the team and give us some kind of uplift before the season ends. I'd like him to get some carries and better himself for next season. Edited by Pookie, Oct 17 2013, 03:17 PM.

How does that make it any less impressive? Look at what s***ty QBs done on good teams. Matt Schaub for example. Tarvaris Jackson with the Seahawks? No. You don't win games as a s***ty QB on a good team, it just doesn't happen |
