I am 1-3 picking against the Patriots this year. Totally killer! I haven't given up hope that they suck, though. That game vs the Bengals was predictable. CIN's defense isn't as good as people have been proclaiming. But I give that they are decent.

@Fulgore- I've never seen that happen before. They will have to get a replacement kicker I'm guessing?

I think you're right Mago, but at the same time, it is Tom Bradies. I picked against them too because I thought the Saints had more firepower, yet I was wrong. I should have known better. As long as the Patriots have Tom Bradies, you can't rule them out. Their team seems weak in certain areas, but it is really hard to see their weaknesses because Tom Bradies always makes them look better than the are.

The Giants were getting away with murder for the past few seasons. The talent on their roster as a whole has been poor and they are finally getting exposed.

So basically you admit that Eli Manning was able to carry a poor offensive team to the playoffs because you said that our team was poor as a whole?
No, thats not what I said at all.

And @Master Gohan: I was talking about the past few seasons post the Super Bowls. And I'm a Tennessee Titans fan...it's been a rough decade. You won't hear any unwarranted homerism from me.

I wasn't attacking the Giants or Eli either. You 2 are way too defensive when it comes to the Giants. I was just giving my opinion. Am I wrong?
@Noir: Tell me about it, even in my most recent debates I've never been a super homer towards my team(49ers), I'd just slaughter they're weak arguments and go on with my day.

Yet when a homer niner fan who imo is just obviously baiting the Giants fans here; the giant fans bite and HARD like their fandom depended on it. just deal with it, its nothing more but trash talk. Do you guys seriously think Eli is the worst QB ever?! thats just idiotic! He was just trying to arouse you... <_< Can't believe you you guys bit on that... *SMH*

Quote:

Also, I wish some of you would just admit your team isn't the GOAT and start talking about some flaws with your team. They get a win and you guys are like "OMG MY TEAM IS SO GOOD GUYS HOLY s***!"

I was directing it towards the 49ers fans on this forum. They seem to think their team is
absolutely amazing.

@MrGohan: the only 49ers fan here talking sh**t directly towards your team was Fulgore, don't get it twisted insulting the entire 49ers fan base on this forum, either PM them directly or "@" them in your posts, instead of taking the cowards way out and involving the rest of the niner fans in the forum which is pretty much just me.

Speaking of trash talking, the Cowboys are good at trash talking, and they just scored. I really do hope the Redskins kick their a*** just because between the two I hate the Cowboys more. >_<

I haven't been following Rg3's performances, but it doesn't seem like he has been playing well. They say he is still timid about his knee injury. He is still young, but I am wondering if that injury will have an effect on his future. i hope not.

Houston gets smoked again, really sad to see ppl cheer when shaub got hurt. ridiculous to do that no matter how bad he is. he seems like a really nice guy and what I hear he does a lot for the community their.

I feel like the only two teams we ever talk about are the Giants and Niners
Pookie posts about the giants and people rip on the giants and it gets out of hand.

Saints vs pats was crazy and it feels good to finally see a good game after a pretty bad season for me so far.

It takes a mere second for treasure to turn to trash.

It was nice having Vernon Davis on my fantasy team lol. RG3 is not looking good though, and of course DeMarco Murray sprained his left MCL.

I don't think RG3 is the problem because the Redskins aren't a good team overall. He tries to do too much, and his organization doesn't help in too much. I've read so many horror stories from people who played in Washington.

The Jaguars hung in there despite being totally disrespected the entire week. Everyone thought they were going to get blown out. They did pretty well for a team that has struggled throughout the entire year.

As for Shaub getting injured, well that truly sucks. He was the blame as to why the Texans lost last week. I don't think it is fair to blame one player. Either way, any fan who wishes injury on their players obviously isn't a fan, and a bad person.

I don't mind talking about them. I'd like like to lessen the hate talk on both teams. Or the constant promoting of both teams. But It was just an obvsevation. Carry on. I didn't get to watch much this sunday :( Saints and Patriots game was probbaly the best of the weekend from what I saw

New york giants!!!?? Watch them dazzle and destroy tonight at 7!

Saints vs pats was my best of the season. Ill admit, this season has been real s***ty (0-6) and only watching the giants hurt ( i want my team back!)

I try not to talk about the Giants, but when they get brought up or bashed, I have to defend them. I bleed blue.

I've tried several times to change subjects about other teams, but it always ends up going to the same ones. I apologize for that.

I don't care much for tonight's game. It seems kinda boring to me. However, the colts seem like a promising team.

Ughh I live in the Bay Area, so I didn't get to watch the Saints Patriots game.

I'm gonna plainly admit this, and you can call me a hater or jealous, and I won't deny it.

I HATE TOM BRADY.

So when I see that there is like 2:30 seconds left and Brady throws a pick, I'm thinking, alrite Saints got this in the bag. Tom Brady chokes two weeks in a row.

Then I see the highlight beautiful pass to Kenbrell Thompkins...That was a thing of beauty, that pass. BTW, Fulgore, Brees never really had a chance of getting the first down on the last drive. They ran the ball three times. The Pats d is mediocre, but against the run, they are very very good.

TL;DR: I HATE TOM BRADY. lol.

Edit - Ravens had a chance at that game...We had two third downs and both times, they converted it...Still, Tandon Doss had a good game. He may have proved that if you're gonna blanked Torrey Smith, he can beat you. At the same time, it's dissappointing that, for the most part, we locked up Aaron Rodgers, and yet Eddie Lacy torched us.

Hindsight allows you to make that conclusion, but look at what happened when the Ravens tried to go aggressive against the Packers.

With about 30 seconds left, 2 timeouts, Ravens try to take shots down field from their own 20. Flacco gets stripped, Packers kick a fg at the end of the half. Packers win 19-17, you take away that field goal, Ravens win.

I'd rather let Brady beat me, then beat ourselves personally. Especially when Brees wasn't having a particularly great game as it was, nor Brady in the second half.

They were trying to burn their timeouts, which they did. Lets say they pass 3 downs and get no completions. You now punt and give the patriots 2 minutes with 3 timeouts. 1:13 with zero timeouts should be a win, its just Tom Brady, he is elite and he can do it all. Saints played it perfectly, its just their defense had a mighty big breakdown at the end.
