Yes, it really is more like 5 years, but you got the point. For the record, we lost the 4th Superbowl trip that I saw to the Ravens and Ray Lewis in 2000. @Hurry- I don't watch College Football so I don't really know who the prospects are, but Giants need almost everything to be honest. The Giants team has aged significantly and weakened in a lot of areas. -Offensive Lineman (team is riddled with injuries/older age) -Running Back (Wilson is injured and Jacobs is the only one that is really left. There are Cox and someone else, but idk how good they are.) -Linebackers/defensive lineman -maybe field goal kicker I think we need a new offensive coordinator, but that's just me. Those are the main positions that are lacking on the Giants team that I feel that need to be strengthened during the offseason/draft. Regardless, I am excited for tonight's game because since we don't have anymore pressure to really perform because everyone thinks they are out of it. I want to see if the Giants try anything differently. Edited by Pookie, Oct 10 2013, 07:37 PM.

@Pookie, I've been proud to be a niners fan for the last 2 decades, which includes 10 years of being compared to the browns.. maybe you'll learn some humility if the giants continue to suck for 10 years. |

You don't think the Giants have had some bad seasons? They weren't the best in the 90's either even though we had Lawrence Taylor until 93. They were pretty terrible throughout the 70's and 80's from what I read so I think the Giants have had enough bad seasons. I wasn't alive to see the 70's/80's, but I've read enough on them to know. I've also dealt with a lot of 49ers fans and Cowboys fans in my school/job/etc who can only brag about the 80's and 90's, and are always quick to judge other teams which I will further prove later in this post. Fulgore, the only person who needs to learn some humility is you. I never said anything bad about the 49ers until you started to rub how bad the Giants were which I agree they are bad, but you tend to do it in a demeaning manor just like you did with the Seahawks a couple of weeks ago except the Seahawks are an amazing team. You even suggested Tebow to be on the Giants team, which to me is extremely rude. Spoiler: click to toggle Finally, don't take out your bitterness on me. I've been nothing, but respectful to every team including the 49ers. It is some of their superior complex fans that make me want to talk trash back. My response was out of what hugo and YOU said. Even in the post alone, you mentioned the 49ers being compared to the Browns. What is wrong with that? The Browns are a very good organization and one of the oldest teams in the league. I'm sure Jim Brown would be mad if you said something like that to his face. You have some respect for once. Spoiler: click to toggle

If the Giants get a top 5 pick they MUST trade down. Grab the other team first round pick and another the next year. I wish Eli was older, a replacement would be nice to have. (eli is great but with such a QB heavy draft class, its probably the best time now.) |

If the Giants did get a top 5 pick, and Clowney was available at there pick, I have to think they'll pull the trigger. You get Clowney and you don't need to strengthen your linebackers anymore. People are saying his stock is down cause he isn't playing well right now, but front office guys know that he's got no motivation left to play for SC. If he could have come out, he would have last year. When he's playing for money and fully healthy, he's going to be a game changer @Pookie: Was Kerry Collins really the Giants QB vs the Ravens in 2000 superbowl? Edit 2.0 - I hate to keep the topic on one team, but is Jason Pierre-Paul playing well this year? He was dominant in 2011, and injuries definitely slowed him down in 2012. I haven't even heard his name this season. Edited by Hurry My Curry, Oct 10 2013, 11:13 PM.

@Hurry- Yes, he was, and he threw 4 picks in that game. Michael Strahan was in that game also.Pierre Paul is not playing well this year. He is riddled with injuries which has impacted us greatly. He recently returned from a spine injury/surgery so I am assuming he isn't 100%. Also, the Giants are playing today so that's why we are talking about them. Do you guys think the Broncos will go 16-0? Edited by Pookie, Oct 10 2013, 11:39 PM.

Coming into the season, when I was looking at Manning's schedule, the only tough games I saw were Baltimore and New England. We all saw what he did to Baltimore, and with New England looking as bad they have looked, I think he wins those games too. However, I can admit that I didn't expect the Chiefs to be this good. He has two games against them. I really do believe that the Chiefs can take at least one of those games. And Peyton gets to go back to Indiannapolis for the first time. That's his other tough game. I do think that he'll take care of business from the Colts however. Tl;dr, Yes, Peyton has a great chance to go 16-0, especially when Von and Champ come back. |

No, I think they will go at best 14-2. Easy 1st seed and bye though. Lets hope the Giants do well tonight. Can't talk anymore tonight because my dad comes home at 10 so will be watching the game then. Can't have spoilers :). I don't know what I can really root for with 1-5 because all they would be doing is hurting their draft pick chances, but what can you do, they are my team. |

Dat 4th and 2 tho, good stop for the giants. since I'm playing against a guy that has the Bears defense as well as Matt Forte, I hope Eli lights em up so that Forte won't get as many carries sas. GO GIANTS. |
