My snorelax roommate

Tonight and right now it's 2:00 in the morning and I have class at 8:00.

Every night, my roommate snores me out and causes me to lose sleep from his bad snoring problem. It causes me to stay up, even with my laptop shut, and it also wakes me up in the middle of the night and that causes me to stay up for a couple more hours before I can go back too bed.

1. because I've woken up and it's hard to go back to sleep like that sometimes.

2. and because I'm up to hear his constant snoring again.

Am I wrong for getting mad and irritated? What should I do? I told him about it and he says he can't help it.

I got a little irritated tonight and he got mad and left our room to go sleep with another teammate.

Can someone help me?

I might as well stay up and forum & write my story some more since I'm up still. What's up?

Well then my good ol' friend Prof.
I'd be just as annoyed as you are, you're not wrong for getting irritated but then again he can't really help it if he snores loudly can he? So none of you are in the wrong, so I guess you'll just have to work something out :)

I'm just a piece of trash.. but there are things I learned. The hole in your heart is something other people can fill.
If you reject your friends' feelings and this world..
Just because something didn't go as you wished, no one will ever come to you.
And so that hole won't be filled either, if you just run away without doing anything people won't do anything for you either..
As long as you don't give up, you can still be saved

Recommend him some of those jaw positioning things, or that spray that you use on the back of your throat.

Put a pillow over his face, and push down really hard. He'll be so quiet, it'll be like he isn't even breathing. Just kidding. Please don't do that.

How big is he? I heard that weight has something to do with snoring. Drinking as well. Does he usually drink before he goes to sleep?

Nah, I've heard it can actually ruin relationships, lol.

Ask him to get it sorted out. Buy earplugs for yourself in the mean time. My sleeping's become much more satisfying ever since I started using them because one of my housemates last year kept waking me up really early even though I didn't have a lecture to get to. And don't worry about not hearing your alarm -- most of the time they drop out of your ear after a few hours.

Wrestle him. Winner gets kicked out!

Get ear plugs, that's the only way.

Get earlplugs, I actually got mine for the soul purpose so that I didn't have to hear my own roommates snore which I honestly find annoying as hell. It works wonders, but it's only really useful for lowering light to semi-moderate sounds so if your roommate is roaring like Godzilla, it won't be any use.

But yeah, use some earplugs, if anything it'll drown out some sound.

For number 2. Try not to judge the snoring like for your own breathing eventually it would stop annoying you.

Your best option

Spoiler: click to toggle

But yeah, you should get earplugs or something that would cancel out the sound of his snoring.

Lol, I would've been so mad. I remember when I use to sleep with my mom and dad (This was WAY back then, like, 10 years ago), and my mom would snore up a storm, that's actually how I started sleeping by myself lol. Oh yeah, and get earplugs, that should help block out some noise.

Get him a SleepApnea or however you spell it.

Might be expensive though.

Sleep apnea is a medical condition.
