Do you still feel like a new member? Even though I've been here for a little over a year it has felt like a couple of months. How quickly does time seem to be going for you guys?

I definitely feel like a new member because I had two long absences from personal issues and was afraid that I'd sound to stressed or whiny on a forum. XD Lately though I've been coming here where I'm having a bad day instead of avoiding it, and I find that it always makes me smile, so I'm feeling a little more in the loop.

I have almost 4000 posts even though I joined this year. I've also bonded with people here, so I don't feel like a newbie at all.

Yeah, I still feel sorta new. I've only gotten 2600 posts and I see people just sign up and pass my post count up in one or two months.

2013 people should consider themselves newbies (like me), 2012 people are no newbies anymore. Progo joined in 2011 for god's sake, are you saying he was still a newbie 1 year ago

He's not technically a newbie, but he could "feel" like one.

One year ago I had around the same number of posts that Prof did. I believe his post per day was around 4-5, and then all of a sudden he came alive

But my point wasn't saying people from that era are "noobs", I'm asking if it has felt like you have been here long. Buuberries and Smochi answered it best.

I'm the noob that climbed to the top! I battled the vicious forces of trolls and arrogant posts and now look at me!

Behold! I am your god! The god of all forum moderators! Still thy tongues and gaze with envy and awe at your master! Once I was young and tender but now I am old and strong! Strong! Strong!

Members of the forum, My posts are like tenfold shields, my texts are swords, my quotations spears, the shock of my threads a thunderbolt, my responses a hurricane, and my moderation...death."

Goes to show how far you can go in about a years time.

Warn increase for disrespecting your god. I hope you'll learn before you question the authority of your moderating god.

I kid of course, I feel that having been on here for a year and more importantly, establishing myself as the well respected, if not eccentric member of the forum, I don't really thinkI'm a noob or if anything new here. Once you've been here for at least a year, you've pretty much warranted yourself as non-noob unless you've never posted or something after a year.
