You can even switch almost anytime you want. The first two years you can switch guaranteed, but the next two are tricky because you'll be taking major classes then. Even then you can switch, but you'd just end up being in college longer. |

I know I didn't mean like it like that sorry if you misunderstood. I meant try to be humble with what you have. ![]() Only a very very small amount of people have no problems in there life. Happiness is a state of mind. I don't enjoy my work but if I think about it as in "this jobs sucks can't wait to leave" daily or so then the anger and depression would manifest in me. Obviously there's some things that will make someone unhappy no matter what they do like losing a family member etc. Edited by Zenet, Oct 4 2013, 08:30 PM.

We are just going to be going in circles and circles with this conversation because he sees everything as a dead end when it really isn't the case at all. In the U.S, you can enter into a University/College as an undecided student. It isn't until your junior year that you are pushed into choosing. Those two years you take numerous classes from art, music, history, match, etc that will probably give you a better idea of what you want to be studying. |

I did read the OP and I never suggested you became a social butterfly. However, the only thing you're doing by refusing to step out of your comfort zone is sabotaging yourself. I'm not telling you to go to parties and become someone you're not, but life isn't only made by things that makes us feel comfortable and that's just the way it is. It's extremely irrealistic of you to expect things to get better in your life if you're not willing to make small steps into different directions and take some chances in your life. That's part of growing up as well. But again, I don't know nearly enough about you to actually help you and it seems like you don't necessarily want any help to begin with. So all I can say is that I hope you find ways to tone down your social anxiety on your own and if nothing works there's always professional help for you that you can seek out. I've done that for different reasons in the past, many people I know have done it, and it's really nothing to be ashamed of. Good luck with everything! |
