I feel like they could do better with super buu and baby. one game that actually kind of got super buu right was budokai 2 with the fake super buu absorbtions. i feel like they should make super buu able to absorb any character and absorb multiple at once. and for baby they never actually have baby as a playable character they just have baby vegeta so i think they should have adult baby as a character and have him able to possess anyone and jump out and go into another person and the more people he possesses the more powerful his techniques are and have him able to access higher transformations than the possessee as like how theres signs showing that super baby 2 vegeta was ssj3 but baby just shifted his hair to mach baby's antenna like how his hair got more spiky and curved and the lack of eyebrows

Shadow of the Anbu Black Ops

(I guess I should of stated that this is just my opinion  )

I felt that Budokai 2 was half assed.
Nappa and Raditz coming to Earth at the same time, not meeting Vegeta until Namek and even then you didn't need to fight him, and Vegeta is Goku's rival, no SSJ2 Gohan vs Cell which was again, some DBZ history in that fight.
Super Buu and Kid Buu were overpowered.

There's no point making a Baby character because we didn't really see his attacks and strength in a good enough fight to see them, his power is pretty much controlling others.

But I do get what you're saying in a way

I'm just a piece of trash.. but there are things I learned. The hole in your heart is something other people can fill.
If you reject your friends' feelings and this world..
Just because something didn't go as you wished, no one will ever come to you.
And so that hole won't be filled either, if you just run away without doing anything people won't do anything for you either..
As long as you don't give up, you can still be saved

Are you forgeting that Budokai 2's whole story was a big what if? Almost everything in that game is a what if.

Budokai 2 isn't half assed just because of it's story. Kid Buu and Super Buu being overpowered is because the game wanted to make them special being that their the last two villians of the game. I could go on and on about other characters from other games being overpowered.

Budokai 2 is a great game and actually did something different with the story instead of the usual predictable story. And I loved the What-If forms like Buugeta, Gokule and Tiencha. They were way better and way more original than stupid SS3 Broly from the Raging Blast games. And Super Buu and Kid Buu being strong made the game even better. You actually felt triumphant and satisfied when you managed to beat them, as if you earned the victory. Final bosses shouldn't be a walk through the park. Compared to other fighting games Super Buu and Kid Buu were child's play. As a matter of fact if you get good at cancel combos Goku is the most powerful character by far.

And I loved how the game was actually a challenge in unlocking characters through specific Story matchups. You had to work out who to use as an ally and who to make them fight to get a new character. The newer games are too straightforward in the way you unlock characters. B2 and B3 both made you work it out through your knowledge of the show. For example you had to know Piccolo was the last Z fighter to battle Android 17 in the series so you could choose him as an ally and finish 17 with him to unlock him. And you had to know about Krillin and 18 to unlock her. It rewarded players for having watched the anime and that's a great thing that most other DBZ games neglect to do. I really miss the days were games were more like games and rewarded extensive play.

Anyway I agree that Buu's absorption should be utilised in the newer games so that you can absorb pretty much anyone. I would love them to make a Destroy all Humans sort of game were you play as the bad guys from DBZ and can absorb people with Buu and Cell.

"The future of Gohan. The Future of Chi Chi. Not to mention the future of the entire universe. It all depends on me!!!! And I don't care if you're a million times stronger than me! I'm not going to let them down! So get ready Frieza because this time you're going Down!!!"

Even though Budokais 2 story is a bit off for me its the best storyline in dbz games I just loved it the stages the storyline the Majin Frieza and Cell ^_^ also I agree with you my friend Super Buu should absorded characters such as Goku or Vegeta and why wouldn't Baby be as well or a GT stage well its what the creators thoughts its right?
