Week 4 discussion topics

Primetime has some good match ups sunday and monday night. I'm excited to see them.

I think Giants could get their first win but the only reason I think they wont is because the Chiefs Defense is WAY too good whilst the Giants Defense is just so lacking it's like they've forgotten was real effort was. At least that's what it looks like on tv. I think if Giants defense does well it'll allow the running game to start which will then open up the pass again which is what they need.

Eh, Atlanta is still a legitimate threat to Patriots' defense. They're in for a rude awakening if they honestly think they're that good.

they are the patriots. they don't get ahead of themselves, only way I see Atlanta winning is if they can press.ure the s*** outa tom brady. then they still gotta put points up on there defence who is playing really well.

I hope the seahawks can do well against Houston on the road to silence any doubters that there still not that great on the road, and truly make them a poerhouse in the nfl

don't see giants winning this week

Their defense played really well against the likes of Buffalo, the Jets, and Tampa. They haven't shown any real talent yet. But I suppose we do have yet to see them play a good offense, it will be a test. Just one I think they might flunk given their secondary.

And its way too easy to pressure Tom Brady. Remember the super bowls vs the Giants? Or the AFC championships vs the Ravens? 4 obvious examples of what usually happens during the regular season when the Patriots play against a good team.

ok well the falcons have given up around 25 points a game.. what about their defence. im takin new England offence vs atl defence before I take atl offence vs ne defence for sure

tbh I would still take NE here even if amendola and gronk don't play...

The Patriots run defense is up there with the best, that is not debatable. Secondary is susceptible to giving up big plays and just generally not playing well. What I'm concerned about is that both Julio Jones and Roddy White are limited in practice with injuries right now.

I am watching the 49ers vs Rams, and I had a feeling they would go back to the fundamentals. They are running the ball like the Giants should be. :T_T: Frank Gore is doing well tonight.

I don't see the Rams coming back in the 2nd half, but one never knows.

Looks like the 49ers dodged a bullet Joe Staley walked out of the X Ray room without a noticeable limp and told Matt Maoiccio a reporter that he was "OK"

And Jim Harbaugh said after the game in the post game show that they dodged a huge bullet when he was asked about Staley.

So yea, WE GUUUD :D

Just glad the 49ers finally realized that they are a run first team no matter who is at QB!

We never forgot we were a run first offense...did you see how bad the Seahawks clumped up on the line?

I think volt is right. I didn't see gore get many carries previous weeks like he did last night. They tried more options with kaepernick. It seemed like he wasn't as stressed because he didn't have to do as much.

Now if only the giants figured that out.....

I also believe that the Rams poor defense contributed towards Gore's explosion. Lets not forget that in week 4, DeMarco Murray exploded for 175 yards.

It is very well possible, but I am hoping that the Giants can get their first win this season because I don't think they are that bad of a team to go 0-4. We are definitely better than what our record indicates. If they don't run the ball and our offensive line does s*** again, then we are heading to 0-4 babay, but since I am a glass half full time of person, I guess it will benefit us in the long run to get some better draft picks.

@Hurry- The Rams had some good defensive stops, but their offense didn't do anything with it.

Yeah, except the Giants!

IF the cowboys lose and the Giants win, we are set. One game back at 1-3? Hell yeah.
