Anybody on here a fan of films, either written, directed or produced by Quentin Tarantino? He's one of the all-time greats, in my opinion. Django Unchained and Pulp Fiction are up there on my top 10 list.

I just recently watched this 90s movie called True Romance. it was written by Quentin, himself. The film is just fab. All star cast, beautiful music, epic scenes. Gotta love Brad Pitt in the movie as a lazy stoner, one of his most underrated movie roles.

I highly recommend y'all to watch True Romance, you won't regret it. Give me a shout out about it.

I'm sure you guys also watched another one of his films called Reservoir Dogs, straight up classic mobster film of the 90s. Not one of my faves, but i watch it from time to time.

The Kill Bill films were amazing, though I loved Vol 1 more than Vol 2. Been meaning to watch Inglorious B*****ds & Django Unchained, but I just haven't had the time.

I have the Tarantino Blu-Ray Collection with all his films. One of the best film makers of all time in my opinion. The master of dialogue writing.

I love every single Quentin Tarantino movie. My (rather cliche, I know) favorites are the Kill Bill franchise, but HOLY HECK did I love Django. I would say that my top 3 are Kill Bill, Django, and Pulp Fiction. But then again, I like a lot of his movies for different reasons. I liked Inglorious Bastards because of the acting performances I saw from unlikely actors, and I liked Machete because of how it turned a joke advertisement into an actually awesome movie!

I'm ranting. But I think that Quentin brings out some of the best character acting performances I've seen from Brad Pitt, Robert De Niro, and Samuel L Jackson, especially.

His films are definitely high up on my 'favourite films of all time' list - which I consider to be made up of films I can watch over and over again and never get tired of. I haven't seen True Romance as yet (can't think of why - maybe just slipped by me), but of course, Kill Bill - and considering I had to analyze a scene from vol. 2 for my Film Studies coursework (few years back now, but hey) and still didn't get tired of it ... well.

Really enjoyed Reservoir Dogs myself. Pulp Fiction (of course), Inglorious Basterds ... actually didn't dislike Jackie Brown if I'm being honest, although I shamefully haven't seen Django Unchained, yet. I wanted to go see it at the cinema when it was on, but most of my friends don't share my taste in movies, or else just weren't free when I was. =/

I liked Quentin himself in From Dusk 'Til Dawn ... and the 'talking head' scene from Sin City is one of my all time favourites. xD

Another movie (or couple of movies) to check out are 'Death Proof' and 'Planet Terror' (both part of the 'Grindhouse' double feature) - particularly 'Planet Terror' if you're into pulp-esque zombie flicks with a B-Movie feel.

Machete I got part way through before my friends decided we weren't drunk enough to watch it yet =( (they did the same with Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas - darn them, not sharing my taste in films!) - what I saw, I enjoyed.
Oh, look. Another personal blog about writing. Whatever.

Yeahh Ria, you gotta watch True Romance, dude. You wont regret it. It's one of the greatest flicks i've ever watched. Great blend of thriller and has alot of elements of comedy.

@Graffiti - I just IMDb'd it, and all I can say is I really, totally, will have to check it out. It sounds like the EXACT kind of movie I'd watch ... and watch again ... and again ... and again ... you get the picture. xD will probably pick it up on DVD next time I'm out (I have a 'thing' about having everything on DVD). Should be able to get hold of it pretty easily.

Also, loving how Badlands comes up on the recommendations. LOVED that movie. =D
