Any comments about week three can go here.

I'm hoping the Giants can pull off a victory for Tom Coughlin who lost his brother this week. The team has been rallying around him because of the strength he has shown this week. I really do hope we can play well for him.

I'm excited to see chiefs and eagles. It should be a good game.

At least, you will beat the Giants. The last couple of years the Vikings have beaten the Giants. We might go 0-16 at this point if we don't play with emotion. The Giants looked like they didn't want to be on the field.

Hello Steelers, welcome to the 0-3 club xD. I'm at least feeling a bit better. We aren't the only team sucking a***.

I couldn't be there for the 2000 season, was only about 4-5. I started watching and becoming a fan in around 2005-2006.

Yeah, the Giants went to the Superbowl that year and Kerry Collins ended up throwing four picks. Lets just say we got smashed by the Ravens that year. It was such a heart break.

Welp my heart still aches from yesterday, but it's time to move forward. I think the Steelers are having the same issues as us.

Hate to say it but if the Seahawks get home advantage they'll be in the SB and then loose cuz playing away their just as average/above average as any other team and their away record proves that.
That comes with having such a young team, they got like the 5th youngest team in the league, young players get so hyped and in seattle it is a madhouse in there so it makes them play that much better.

once they learn how to get pumped like that at other teams stadiums id watchout.

no doubt in my mind seattle has the best chance to take down the broncos at this point. even on the road. manning wont put up the numbers he has been in the playoffs against Wilson even at home.

I think the Bears are looking pretty good too. They might be one of those sleeper teams that nobody expects to go far.

This is an interesting quote that you should read Mr. Gohan. I think it is very true, and it is probably the main reason why the Giants/Steelers are doing terrible.

Quote:

Peter King, Monday Morning Quarterback
“The Steelers and Giants shouldn’t be shocked to be 0-3. They can’t block. They can’t protect their Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks, the Giants especially. It’s been 10 seasons since these two teams picked in the top 10 of a draft—coincidentally, the year they got Eli Manning and Ben Roethlisberger—and both are on the way to that ignominious placement in 2014.”

No, slowly the seahawks are getting figured out even at home. All any opposing team has to do is copy what the Niners/Panthers D did to Seattles offense, Wilson threw for 142 yards and only threw 1 td and an int against the niners. The 49ers defense held the seahawks to only 5 points for an entire half (and that's without their starting NT that got injured early in the game and is out for the rest of the season)

In the third quarter the niners defense was left out there TO DIE, they were gassed due to stupid offensive play calling, lack of wr depth ughh Greg Roman the 49ers OC get probably one more game and if doesn't scrap that absurd "Pistol option Offense" which the entire NFL has already figured out, if he doesn't go back to the bread and butter "run to set up the pass" that brought the niners success the past 2 year Greg will be fired next week!

Don't forget and I'll say this again Russel Wilson ONLY threw for 142 yards in his own stadium, if any semi-decent defense can somehow copy or even better the scheme the niners/panthers did to stop Russell and their run game the seahwaks biggest advantage will be gone.

The Broncos which you suggested to lose to the seahwaks is plausible but Von Miller will have something to say about that, if Von can shake up Russell like Aldon Smith did with 2 sacks and a flurry of qb pressures don't expect for Russell to have a good game, in an away stadium no
less.

What? players can get easily motivated being at home doesn't do that much tbh, that stadium is more effective towards opposing team offenses causing penalties and such look at how many false start penalties it caused the niners 100+ yards worth of penalties and that is the best O-Line in the NFL... that stadium is just too OP.

Right now I've only rewatched the 49ers and Panthers game in which both teams had a very good chance to beat the seahawks early in the game and both times the seahawks O looked very average if it wasn't for D'angello Williams fumbling at the goal line... idk shoulda coulda would've right? Exactly what I'm saying any team with a good above average D has a great chance to beat the Seahawks.

Its only week 3 coming up on 4. I expect opposing defenses to look at those games and see the same thing the Panthers and 49ERS saw and expose Russel Wilson even more. (Counting out the Jags, thats just not fair lol)

I also expect the Giants and 49ers to come back and start playing great again, right now both teams are suffering from the same thing terrible play calling from they're OC's I fully expect G. Roman to be fired if he doesn't go back to the bread and butter that brought the niners success the past two years the same with the Giants if they start playing the run to set up the pass the protection will be much better cuz defenses will have to play the run and rush which will give Eli just enough time to start throwing the ball to those monsters he calls his WR corpse!

Its been only 3 games!

The first thing you start doing to get yourself out of a hole is to stop digging :D

Oh I know what happened, I just can't care that much, like how I don't really know/care kind of about the yankees in 1996-2000. I hate that, I wish I grew up at 10-11 through those years, best Yankee years ever imo.

@Volt I expect the Giants and Niners to get out of the hole, but its looking pretty bad for the Giants especially. Historically over the years 2007-present the NFC East needed 10-9 games to clinch it. I think it will take at least 10 games this year. Giants will have to go 10-3 realistically to make the playoffs. They can do it, but the reason why 0-3 teams dont usually make it, is because they are 0-3 because they suck. The Giants are better than what they are playing. 10-3 is their number to get, looks quite unrealistic, but its what has to be done. 9-4 is even tough to do. But they can do it, I believe in my team. Luckily the NFC East is sucking as well, 2 games out and 0-3 is very good imo, it could be worse. 2-1, 1-2, 0-3, 0-3. They aren't out of it, thats for sure.

I can see Dal vs SD going either way, and it looks like the eagles will go to 1-3 vs the Broncos, so I can really see it being 3-1, 1-3, 1-3, 1-3 and even 2-2 Dal, Giants just need to win and it will be close.

@Mr. Gohan- I am on the fence about whether or not I want the Giants to do really well. Of course, I want them to win and do extremely well, but at the same time, I feel like getting some good draft picks will help us in the long run. Our offensive line is old, our defensive front is getting older with Pierre Paul recovering from an injury, we lack linebackers, and we haven't really made any changes to our coaching staff that much these years.

When we drafted Eli Manning, we were in that transition faze of getting rid of the old people and bringing in younger players. Those players got us to the playoffs before Eli Manning arrived, but then we ended up going 4-12. We got rid of Jim Fassel, Kerry Collins, Tiki Barber left after a year/two, and it was just better for the team overall. It was that mixture of veterans and young guys that really helped us in the span where we won two superbowls.

I really feel like it is time for a new offensive coordinator. It would probably benefit Eli Manning to have someone different who can bring out the best of him because I feel like it hasn't yet been accomplished with Gillbride. Gillbride is too quick to give up on the run. He puts Eli Manning in situations where he is forced to throw it down field all the time. I've noticed this a lot.

As for Tom Coughlin, I don't have a problem with him staying because he is a HOF coach. However, some staff changes and first round, top ten draft picks would benefit us in the long run. We don't want to go on thinking that this team will go somewhere because it needs some changes, and I don't want to fool myself either. I think our defensive secondary, the quarterback position, and the running game are pretty good, yet need some OOMPH. We just need to work around replacing the older people, which is easier said than done.

Part of me wants it too, but I don't see the team getting a top 10 pick. There is no way they dont get at least 8 games. If they can't even get 8, we know our team is in big big trouble. I think they can turn it around. Lets not start talking about giving up, its too early. IF they lose next week, then fine, let them tank. No chance you get back from 0-4, they would need to go 10-2 to end the season if they want a slim chance. Ain't happening then.

I don't want the Giants to tank, but I feel like if they do, it will be something positive to look forward too. We do need to start revamping the team because the team is older. We need changes in the staff as I mentioned earlier.

I can very well see the Giants getting into the playoffs if they turn things around because the Eagles are 1-2 and the Redskins are 0-3. The Cowboys are playing well, but I see them fizzling out like they usually do towards the end of the season.

Regardless, all I am saying is that if we do bad this season, it wouldn't be a terrible thing.

Yeah, I see what you mean. 2 games out isn't a big thing to cry about. I expect the Redskins to win, Eagles to ose (broncos), and Dal could win as well. And if the Giants win, 1-3, 1-3, 1-3 and 3-1. And a chance to play Philly. 2-3 with a win against philly sets the Giants up nicely. I would doubt Dal would go 4-1. Just get 2 wins, I think the Giants will be 1 game back and in it honestly.
