I don't even know who that is.

And there's a difference between insulting someone for what they believe/think/do and just for how they are born.
edit: in reality there's no difference between him and any random racist person on the street or in a pub

Captain Oblivious

My favorites would probably be Ross Noble, Jimeoin (even his face is amusing, seriously!), and Jimmy Carr mostly because of his anti-heckling ability.

Jeff Dunham and Jack Whitehall both pi** me off. Dunham's a racist sh** (oh yes I make fun of everyone....except White folk) and Whitehall is a hipster imo to put it nicely. Whitehall isn't so bad I suppose though really.
Dunham's definitely overrated. But there's plenty of black comedians out there who exclusively tell race-oriented jokes, and it gets extremely old very fast.

George Carlin was anti religious. Does that make him a bad person?

That is sad. George Carlin has been voted the #2 Stand-up of all time (behind Richard Pryor), and has had the most HBO specials out of any stand-up (18). His jokes were primarily based around the ridiculousness of religion, and he even starred in a few Jay and Silent Bob movies. He unfortunately passed away in 2008.

Here's one clip from him:

Difference between Black comedians/like Russell Peters and Jeff Dunham is they make fun of their own ethnic group too, so it's not a "we're better than you!" thing.

I'm not a massive stand up fan so there are probably a lot of "legends" I don't know. George Carlin looks alright. Sorta seems like Chris Rock. Kinda.

I also like Henry Rollins although he's more Spoken Word. Still find him funny a lot though.

Michael McIntyre is my favourite. He uses humour that is just so relatable, plus he doesn't need to make offensive jokes and swear all the time to make people laugh. That said I do also love Jimmy Carr.

Just decided to look into more stuff.

I now also like Eddie Murphy and Hari Kondabolu. Pablo Francisco, Eddie Griffin, John Leguizamo (dude who played Sid in Ice Age and has been in a bunch of other films) are all pretty decent.

Greg Giraldo, Freddy Prinze and Patrice O'Neal are quite good too RIP.

Don't feel bad. I also failed to mention that he was "Mr. Conductor" in Thomas the Train.
