Mayweather wins again and yet the haters still talk mess. I read someone say that Money should have fought Pacman in his prime instead of running like a girl. Just admit greatness is greatness. |

No he didn't. Mayweather dodged some shots but most of the fight he stood and fought. |

How do yo mean funny? Lol? Floyd has beaten each champion who came in his way. Floyd is the most intelligent , smartest boxer of all time. Watch his defensive reflexes , and then see how fast he give his punches. Thats pure boxing. Hate all you want , but 45-0 is still a FACT. Men lie , women lie , numbers don't. #TMT #Wediditagain |

I don't think you should use his character to judge his boxing ability. Ali was a complete a***** too you know, especially the way he treated women. Mayweather's timing was phenomenal. Did you see how he slipped Cannelo's punches and then counter them with either a short uppercut or a hook over the top? Not to mention his lightening jabs that Canello couldn't even block. Then there's the fact that he gave Canello such a small target to hit. When he defends, he doesn't just sit back and take punches, he counters. Those punches weren't soft either, he was snapping Canello's head back with every blow. Sometimes he did run away. That was to get off the ropes. You shouldn't stand still with a fighter like Canello coming at you. But he also attacked. In this fight he seemed to go on the offensive more than in his fight with Cotto. I personally think that was a mistake. Canello was more successful when Mayweather tried to take it to him. People can say what they like about Mayweather's character, he probably isn't that great a guy. But suggesting that he is not among the best of all time, I don't agree with that at all. Watch some of his fights again, in slow motion if you can. Look at some of the punches he throws and lands whilst also being incredibly defensive at the same time. The speed, the timing, the sharpness, the accuracy and the movement. All on par with someone who should be considered one of the greatest fighters of all time. |

Aside from the Jail stint Mayweather has said plenty of times that his Money persona is a character he created to entertain people on All Access/ 24-7 and to help sell fights. Since his Jail Stint he has also gotten a lot more respectable out of the ring. Maybe Mayweather did cheat on his wife but what celebrity doesn't, I'll bet that the majority of them have cheated on their spouses doesn't make them bad people. Mayweather as of today is the best boxer of his time in the 147-154 division as of right that's a fact. #TMT #Wediditagain |

no doubt he's a really good boxer who would be considered good in any era, but idk how he can be called the greatest of all time when he cherry-picks his opponents. they're either just out of their prime or not there yet. sure canelo is good but he's only 23. that's what a lot of people have problems with: a lot of the greats from the past fought everyone who was considered their best at their prime. |

Mayweather has fought and beat nearly every major contender in the weight divisions he's competed in. With the exception of Paquiao of course. Alverez was over 15lbs heavier than Mayweather in the fight and has over 40 fights to his name. You can hardly call that inexperienced. I don't think there is a better class of opponent out there for Mayweather than Canello Alverez and he pretty much schooled him. So yeah, I'd say he was one of the greatest of all time. |

I meant from Pacquiao. edit: not sure how Ali was an a************. Cheated on his wife, bout it. And some arrogance. Edited by daman, Sep 17 2013, 12:46 PM.

Didn't Mayweather say he didn't want to fight Pacquiao because he didn't want to lose his perfect record? I saw that topic on here a while back. |
