I myself work out (i like to call it training. More epic) and trying to come up with my own style of real fighting for myself. I have nowhere near the skill to be a force to be reckoned with, but i did increase my speed, definitely my strength, and mind due to me thinking my workouts wee actually training regimes. I'd do pushups, situps, pullups, squats, bench...all the gym sh*t. But then i got bored, and switched it up. I ran, metamorphed my pushups into one handed style, flipped, carried trees, body weights, etc etc...i tried it all. I'm not completely in that shape that i aimed for, but it did get me to a level where I've acquired abs for the first time in my life. Workouts just got bland. Training sounds more resulting. Yes?

I workout. I also go "train" with my buddy at his place, he teaches me Jujutsu.

I always wanted to learn some type of art. To help ease my urge to become this mysterious warrior my mind is trying so hard to become. I always want to be some type of powerful. Like an involuntary mindset

I did korean MMA for about 11 years before I went to college. Now I go to dance class, but I just couldn't find a dojang that was like my home one here.

I used to do rock-climbing, but I stopped over the winter because it was so insanely cold outside. Should be picking it back up soon now it's getting warmer. What I really wanna do is get back the same level of fitness I had in my early teens, I used to be able to climb ropes using only my hands and stuff

I don't learn how to fight though.

I use to use a punching bag, and occasional backyard boxing matches with friends. Hell, we'd even make a budokai tournament on tarp. I had to make moves on the fly to not hurt my friends, but the excitement of being a bit superior with my self prowess made it to where i wanted to be even better

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

I used to train at throwing knives.

Y'know, just in case a terrorist burst through the door when I was buttering my toast, could happen at any time.
Could hit a thin tree and stick the blade in from 10-15m away, with a crappy knife too.

Feels pretty cool to teach yourself or to just know some kind of skill like that, to know you're dangerous in the right situations.

I do workout these days, but no as much as I used to back in my soccer days. My brother would tie a tire to my waist and I'd have to deal it up the hill. Those sprints were killer, but the training felt effective. You remember that scsene when rocky Balboa beats Apollo Creed on the beach after losing to him so many times? The scene was like my brother and myself. I could out sprint him after that type of training.

Now and days I just do simple things.

I really hate push ups though. It seems like I don't get better at them even after I do them consistently.

If we are talking martial arts. I took a mixed class of judo, karate, and juijitsu. I wasn't cut out for it though. I for kicked in the chest by a black belt guy, and I went flying. I got the wind knocked out of me. It wasn't good. He ended up apologizing afterwards. My pride couldn't take it so I didnt go back Not just that, but the classes were too expensive anyway.

That's awesome Pookie, you must be a boss at sprinting.

As for me, I remember everything I learned in boxing and (in the very rare case)if i get jumped I decided I won't play fair.
I recently started trying to do nothing but natural workouts and stuff. Recently we cut down this tree that was messing up our fence, so Im going to be using those as a substitute to weights.
TBH i'm just trying to cut down from 250 to the low 200's weight wise. That's my goal anyway. I figure once I cut down to 210 I can start jogging around the town.

Thank you Squall. You'll be able to lose weight in no time by doing those kind of workouts. I feel like natural workouts are the best both physically and mentally. This is why I have never stepped foot in a gym.

Do you want to lose weight or gain weight? I'm assuming you want to gain weight. If you want to gain, you should probably drink some more protein and eat more calories. I'm not expert though. Everyone's body is different.
