Looks like Russel Wilsons hit a sophomore slump. He barely managed to beat the Carolina Panthers..which have arguably one of the worst secondaries in the league. Will their game vs the Niners reveal them to the posers that they are? |

I predicted RG3 would tear his ACL, time to predict Kaepernick to have the same fate. The gods are on my side. Your team is screwed! |

true RG3 deserved it, he played like a retard @above there is a difference. Tom Brady couldn't help it. RG3 could have. He was being extremely stupid and decided to take on 300 pound linemen and not slide. Every game I watched him play I was like "he should just f***ing slide already, he will get hurt" and sure enough he did. He is a good QB, but he needs to learn how to slide. RG3 was a walking time bomb. You knew he was testing fate. You can't play QB like a RB. You're going to f*** your knees up and then what? You're SOL. You'll lose your starting job or job period |

@MrGohan
I HATE fans like you, wishing injury on other players... For gods sake I wouldn't even wish for Eli to get injured. What a shame dude Like Crono. said it doesn't matter who you are, RG3 or Tom Brady, injury is always possible especially for football players. Edited by Volt the Mean, Sep 13 2013, 06:08 AM.

Yeah, I don't wish injuries upon players because that isn't cool. They are people guys. AT THE SAME TIME, we shouldn't try to make everything on our teams to be the best. It just ends up pissing someone off. This is referring to volt and fulgore because you guys constantly go into topics and derail other people's teams or players. It just isn't right. You have the right to criticize, but don't do it to the point where your just slandering a player because you don't like him or because you think everyone on your team is the best in the league. I've seen this too many times before. The only thing keeping this topic from being honest is the biased opinions. Fulgore didn't have a response to what I said about the playoff team so to me that means I was right. The fact that Russel Wilson was able to take a non contender team, the year before, to the playoffs is proof to me that he is a good quarterback. Edited by Pookie, Sep 13 2013, 01:43 PM.

Pookie, I debate football. Thats all, we got into a debate about Eli twice before remember? I never ONCE brought in the Niners into any of my debates with you because we were discussing whether Eli was ELITE the first time, and the second time was whether he should even be ranked in the top 10... And both times I don't know about you but we discussed football just like anyone on any other sports forum, and yea towards the end things got a lil bit heated on both sides which I'm sorry for, but its just plain debating nothing more. Me and Hurry's last debate was one sided tbh I destroyed his arguments and dissected sentence for sentence, towards the end he just started debating out of emotion, and I mean no disrespect to him while I've said this. Pookie, this is a forum and were on the sports section, I'm just utilizing it to its fullest extent you know casual sports chit chat and bare bones debating, unlike Fulgore I don't base my arguments solely around the 49ERS, the only time I mentioned a niner player was Aldon in my debate with Hurry and I was just giving him my list of top OLB's( I also mentioned JPP, D. Ware, Clay Matthews etc.) So please don't ever refer me to be involving the 49ers into my debates as mush as Fulgore, and as for Fulgore, dude if we loose your pretty much handing everyone on this sports section a handgun to fire at us(niner fans) That's why I don't like involving the 49ers into my discussions lol. |

I will admit that you aren't as bad as Fulgore. I'm not talking about the Eli Manning debates specifically, but I am talking about in general especially in the NFL section. I understand the debate about Eli Manning, but even after I put facts up, they are always disregarded and ignored. I don't just throw information without having something to back it up. You know this and so does everyone else. There is nothing wrong with being a fan of your team and having pride in your team because I am the same way. However, there is a difference between criticizing, and then being blatantly disrespectful about another team/player. I had this happen to me when the Giants won the superbowl in this section. The first thing that was brought up was "the 49ers got screwed." I know this old news, but this is just an example of how I feel like sometimes an opinion can get out of control. We get it. The 49ers are awesome, they are a solid team, and they have a good franchise. However, don't make it seem like everything on the 49ers is far superior to anything that is in the league. I've seen it too many times, and I've encountered it too many times in this section alone. This is why I am saying it. http://dbzf.co.uk/topic/8321030/9/ Edited by Pookie, Sep 13 2013, 05:52 PM.

..Now you're just being unrealistic. I dont compare and use the 49ers for every thing I talk about in football. I appreciate plenty of other teams and players to know what I'm talking about. You're bringing up 2011 Season, which was relevant in the beginning of the 2012 Season. I'm not mentioning it. I also haven't said s*** about the 49ers losing to the Ravens in the super bowl either. What are you talking about? Eli has gotten plenty of hats off and respect from everyone. I don't however think he's universally the best QB though Edited by Fulgore, Sep 13 2013, 07:45 PM.

Personally, I don't have an issue with you as a sports fan. I'm similar to you in the sense that I get passionate about what I am talking about. The reason I brought up past news is because I wanted to show examples of what is happening right now. This is the same thing that is happening right now as what always happens. Since this has nothing to do with the topic, I'll put it in spoiler tag. Spoiler: click to toggle However, he has nothing to do with his conversation. I'm just writing what I see respectfully. I hope in a sense that you understand where I am coming from. If other people are okay with how you come across as strong with other teams, then it's all good and dandy. To me, I just think at times it is asking for trouble because I felt like this topic was just out of spite of the game between the 49ers and Seahawks. Edited by Pookie, Sep 13 2013, 11:07 PM.

its a joke dude. When I was watching RG3 play, I saw how reckless and stupid he was so I said he would get hurt by tearing his ACL and he did. I didn't say "I wish he tears," but yeah I was joking when I said about Kaepernick. Eli and Tony Romo get very little respect IMO. I just bash him because I hate the Cowboys, but if I have to be realistic, he is a VERY good quarterback. However, he gets literally zero respect. Eli gets some more, but most people don't give him. eli gets his respect when he makes the playoffs to be honest. everyone knows what hes capable of in the playoffs. he just can be a little inconsistent in the regular season wich makes ppl not think of him as an elite quarterback like rogers brady peyton and brees |

Sometimes people focus on the regular season too much. Lets say Peyton (with his amazing Broncos team) plays exceptional every year winning 12-14 games each year, but then come playoffs throws 3 picks every time easily losing every playoff game. Then comes a guy who is pretty good in the Regular season, is on and off in the postseason once every 2 years, but when he makes it to the playoffs he turns it on and wins it every time. I mean, who is the better QB? Playoffs>regular season. As a Giants fan, It sucks not making the playoffs, but its better than a team who makes it every year but never wins than when the Giants win, don't make the playoffs and then win again. |
