Feeling dumb why? I don't feel dumb at all. Once we got into a rhythm, we shred their team. It was one of those games where nothing goes right for the team. A football hit a man's arm and was a turnover. It was just not for us tonight.

The positives I took out of the game were
-If we are down, don't count us out because even to the last whistle of the game our players kept trying
-The defense is really solid. I am impressed. They kept us in the game.
-We have solid threats in Nicks,Randell, and Cruz

The Negatives
-Running game looks shaky and those fumbles were really bad for Wilson. Regardless, I still like him, and I think he can do much better.
Just angry is all. If he can hold on to the ball he will be good, but we will see.

It was just a really sloppy game and lets hope they can look good next week.

The Giants were very poor when it came to tackling. It was like their gloves were covered in oil. Plus as you said, their running wasn't great either. A lot of the Cowboys looked like they were faster. Plus I don't think the Giants showed enough variety. All they did was try to throw. Sometimes you need to charge. Punch through the lines. To me they looked rusty. Give them more games and I can see them being much better. But they obviously need to work on some things.

Tom Coughlin made the mistake of taking Wilson out. He needed to stay in to learn and gain confidence. This was his first game as a starter, in a stadium with 90,000 plus people, and everyone else was jittery. If you don't let a player develop, how will they get better?

Peterson fumbled several times in his rookie season, but he was given a chance to grow. Of course, Peterson is on a whole other level than any other running back, yet I am using that as an example for giving Wilson a chance to change his habit.

Well they play again on Thursday against the Broncos so we will see how they do. I'm not sure how well they will do with four days rest, but heck I don't care. I'm happy to see how well Eli Manning does against his brother. Most of all I want to see the Giants do better in the run game.

They did try to run the ball but it resulted in two lost fumbles, if I were the Giants HC I would have put my faith in Eli and let him sling his way into a win, we all know he could very well do.

But tonight things just weren't going the Giants way, simple as that.

Disagree. The Giants should be a more of a passing team. Not many teams have a top 10 QB, and 2 amazing receivers and a new guy who is showing signs of being amazing as well. Also notice how once they started to throw only they scored touchdowns. Obviously they should mix in the run, but passing is the Giants strongest point, they have to throw the ball more than running.

I never said that they shouldn't pass but you need more to your game than that to win big. They didn't show that they did tonight. But then it was probably a one off.

Yeah mixing it in. Just don't do the old 1st and 2nd down run and then obviously have a pass play when you only run for 3 yards. Hate that.

I don't think we could have won the game regardless. We kept coming back, but then a turnover or something stupid happened. There was nothing going our way. It was one of those games where everything went wrong. If you have a turnover from a ball hitting a guy's arm who was simply doing his job of blocking, you know it isn't your night. I couldn't even blame that special team's turnover on anyone because it was just ridiculous.

History has proven that Giants do well as a run team first Gohan. I haven't lost faith in Wilson, and I'm not sure why everyone is overreacting. Tiki Barber had the same problem. Ahmad Bradshaw had the issue of fumbling. I really think if anybody can fix it, it's Tom Coughlin.

what would hurt your confidence more.

Fumbling 4 or more times in a game and completely taking your team out of the game

or

fumbling twice, being benched, watch your team almost come back, get your a*** ran into the ground and a ball taped to your hands for 2 practices to earn your spot back in the lineup.

the giants are looking to be a playoff team, they cant afford Wilson,(rookie or not, it does not matter) to go out there and fumble the ball like he did tonight.

I see the giants trying to bring a more veteran RB in to have a more reliable RB and give Wilson his shot back when hes ready.

You can't think like that though. It's very well possible that he could have fumbled 2 more times, but it is also possible that he could have helped the team. I really thought he should have come back in the 2nd half when we were down by a score. If the Giants thought like that with Eli Manning when he had 4 interceptions against the Vikings in 08, they wouldn't have gone on to win the Superbowl.

We also don't have the depth chart at running back to be picky. We recently lost Andre Brown in preseason so I don't know who this veteran will be that you're talking about.

With Tiki Barber and Bradshaw, Tom Coughlin sat them out for some plays before putting them back in. I don't think he should do anything different with Wilson.

its the fact that no one knows how well he is going to actually play. you need a veteran rb because of how slim you are at rb right now. its playing it safe. Wilson has 2 more games like that and you could be 0-3 and looking out of the playoff picture. bring in a vet rb and Wilson will learn from him, be more comfortable and hell get his shot again

I'm not sure what the giants will do for that position. They'll probably bring a veteran guy like you're saying which makes sense for them to do. My opinion on it though is that I hope the Giants stick with him so that he can grow because towards the end of last season he really did well. I liked him in pre season too.

Perhaps giving Wilson a bit less of playing time to practice his fumbling issues and let a veteran running back help him. It should be good soon. Giants need a win next week (I know its early, but starting out 0-2 is just inviting trouble. They can do it against the Broncos, but I am just concerned about the secondary and how they can stop Peyton.

That's going to be a hard hill to come to beat the Broncos especially when Peyton is on.If the Giants can get a pass rush of some kind to make Peyton move around too much, they might have a shot.I heard the Giants are working out Jacobs and Willis McGahee, I expect one of those guys to get the start if they are signed.I like McGahee he has the speed and strength to help the Giants.
