It truly was a Shawshank redemption

A lot of the people who I became close to on the forum have either stopped coming entirely, or rarely post, which is why I haven't been as active lately (although, I've been inactive in the past when those members were active, so I guess I'm just as bad lol).

But, I think I can only echo what Strawberry said. It seems like nowadays there's a lot more bitchiness; people taking the forum too seriously. The spam's also a lot less funny than it was in the first few years of my membership.

Overall though, despite the decreased activity of many of my friends here, I still feel like I want to be more active because during every spell of my activity, I've came away with new friends. DBZF, despite being home to a few spammers and generally negative people, always manages to introduce me to new, cool people who I consider friends.

Hm, I think it goes through phases in a way. As in we see groups of people come and go, within those groups some stay around and become 'old members' while others go inactive and are replaced by the next group of people.

Overall though i'm incredibly proud of this forum and most of the people in it - while there may be an increase in trolls and such we also have an increase in good members. It's simply a side affect of how active this forum has become over the past few years. We've always had such people - Brian / Dark being the obvious one I can think of.

Like Kris though i've become amazed at how close i've gotten with some people here and legitimately care about a lot of you, well, a lot :p

And, fun fact, it's an illusion that activity is dropping:

I really wish I joined earlier.
Since I've joined, I honestly haven't been very active. My post count is pretty low, even considering when I joined. Most of the people I knew who were on this forum have left or have become much less active, which, in turn, has made me feel less motivated to post. If I had joined earlier, I'd have known a lot more of you guys who stuck around.
Now though, I'm gonna try to post in all the sections, especially the dbz area. I have kind of realised how me being inactive because of not having many guys to talk to properly will only ensure that I won't have anyone to talk to on here in the future :p

Edit: tim what's the scale on the left of the chart? Posts? Wow
