Life sucks,s ,let me tell you. But love really is the thing that akes it bearable. Honestly, I can't see myself with anyone other than my boyfriend. We always end our conversatins with "we're gettin MURRIED." But as someone who is planning on being with her future partner for life, let me say it isn't all sunsine and rainbows.

We see faults in eachother, and while some are more grating than others, we realize that they are worth living with if it means spending time with the other. I think that't why they say you need to love yourself to love others. It's not about seeing perfection or thinking someone has no faults. It's about seeing those faults in all of there (lack of) glory, but still realizing that your partner is so, so beautiful. They shouldn't fill gaps in your life, they should complement an already developed one. Imagine if you had a hole in your life, and got a boyfriend/girlsfriend to ill it, but then realized stamp collecting acheived the same purpose? If you know yourself and the things you love, and don't hide them, and this person STILL loves you and makes your life better, it's an amazing feeling. They give you strength to face harships you didn't know you were capable of facing. To be in love isn't always a constant giddiness (even though y chris is tiny and fuzzy and adorable and squeeeeeeeeeee), but a silent resolve that there is nothing this world contains to drive you two apart. It is a contentment, an anticipation for every day, and an overall happiness in life, because you have found someone who finds you as beautiful as you find them. Imagine if someone knew all of your flaws and secrets, and vice versa, but you still respected, enjoyed, and were loyal to each other. It really will be you two against the world, and it feels wonderful.

Isn't it funny that so many people don't believe in love or being in love, yet those who do all say that it's the same thing when describing it?

a few times yeah, but we were just friends and over time i felt myself being attracted to them and I didn't want to jeopardize the friendship we had by telling them how i felt since im pretty sure they didnt feel the same way about me
