Well the game we're talking about doesn't even have online, you can go to tournament if you want to practice.

I like you as a member to Buuberies but the way you went about trying to downplay me when all I said was that Smash was intended to play with it's chaotic gameplay style was rather uncalled for. Your saying I can't take my opinion challenged when your criticising it on the basis of something completely different. And for the record, I was never even talking about the competitive community in any of my posts so i'm not even sure why you brought that up. Whether I completely flop or completely own at Melee has nothing to do with what I said.

now it really doesn't make sense.

it went from "i want to win but i find it annoying when i'm up against people who put in time to practice" to "go easy on kids"

i can't tell if you're calling yourself a kid or not.
Because that's what I said huh.

What I meant was "I want to win but I want the game to be fun"
Not "oh my god why don't I win all the time I'm suing Nintendo" or at least that's how you're making it sound.

To have to put hours and hours in to it to master one character just to have a chance of having fun online is just sad really. Why can't people lighten up? Why must every multiplayer game result in intense competition no matter how lighthearted a game it might be?

It's stupid, there are plenty of other games people could focus their skills on but they choose a game largely populated by kids they're always going to beat in an effort to feel superior or some sad thing like that.
Nintendo has always been about enjoyment but the competitive mentality online basically restricts that part of the game from being fun for children and the inexperienced.

I'm not making a case for myself I'm talking about everyone who wants to play the game to have fun casually, there definitely should be some kind of ranking thing at least most no lifers would congregate up the leader boards and leave casual players alone.

But I'm guessing you'll just highlight the wanting to win part again like it's weird or something, whatever kind of argument that's meant to be when it has nothing to do with the rest of what I've said :w00t:

"For Fun"
"For Glory"
Casual players play 'For Fun', competitive players play 'For Glory'. All other games in the series are irrelevant now because they don't have online capabilities.

Smash 4 has the best gameplay out of them all IMO and this is coming from a guy that didn't like a lot of things about the game (Roster and Modes for the most part).

I'm still not that excited to play it not enough has changed for me to care all too much, I can just go play Melee and have as much fun.

Guess I'll do challenges and things for my gf until she's good at it or will I let her suffer...

With all these remakes and remasters I think it's about time Shadow of the Colossus got a re-do it could look so fantastic with today's technology.
Guessing other developers would need to do it though as The Last Guardian is still being made....that game better be gorgeous it's been in development ages now.

Got a Froakie in Wonder Trade...wut.

There's like 140 challenges in the Wii U version of SSB4 and for the most part, their all pretty challenging.

That sits well with me seeing as the 3DS version only has 35 challenges that can be done with ease. Speaking of which, the 3DS version seems to be a lot easier than the Wii U version.

How so? I found it awkward to play although I'm on 2DS and used to Gamcube controllers for the game.

But yeah the "challenges" in the 3DS one are just sad I done half of them accidentally within like an hour...

Speaking of that think I might trade it in no point having it when we're getting the Wii-U one soon.
So I have SSB, Infamous Second Son, Fallout 3, Pokémon Black, Destiny, Wolfenstein, The Last Of Us and Dark Souls II to trade.

Should get me all of £5 to spend on a pre-owned game
Nah probably like £70.

Then again there's not really any games out soon I want might wait until next year.

What is your opinion on Dragon Age Inquisition?

Gameplay, graphics, audio, boss battles, overall worth and rating?

Crazy Awesome Legend

I watched gameplay and it didn't look too impressive.

3DS has a better Classic mode than the Wii U version IMO but other than that Wii U kills it in every other way possible.

I think Nintendo shouldn't have bothered with a 3DS version and instead should have focused primarily on Wii U.

Yeah not interested in Dragon Age it just looks like they were trying to make an MMO with the art style and lame side quests with no meaning.

Guessing they add sex in to give it more of an appeal but no thanks :p

Not really anything I'm excited about until the February, Evolve and Order 1886.
Dying Light...I think I'll get, after watching some gameplay though not sure I trust developer released gameplay after how bad Dead Island looked.

Holy s***.
You can complete Far Cry4 in 15 minutes lol, I thought it was a joke...

Basically if you do what Pagan asks instead of escaping and becoming some crazy rebel guy like no normal person would do Pagan comes back and you scatter Ajay's mothers ashes and that's it's you finish the game.
That is hilarious, good one Ubisoft.

Well, it was kind of an experiment to see if Smash Bros. could work on a handheld system, and it worked.

I think it's nice to be able to play Smash Bros. wherever. Also, if you find someone else randomly with the game you can battle them and test their skills.

Plus more $$$ for Nintendo.

Is it really a success though? Aside from units sold I'm sure most people who got the 3DS one and then the Wii-U one aren't ever going to bother with the former again.

I wouldn't call it a success unless people consistently enjoy the product not just buy it out of hype and trade it in weeks later.

Never really seen the point in it being on 3DS for everyone that it made want the Wii-U version if they were already invested in the series they'd have wanted it anyway and would have only one source to play it on, some people have probably had their fill and decided not to get the full game. Maybe even the demo put them off.
The Wii-U version would have got plenty attention on it's own if anything the 3DS version is probably hurting the Wii-U's in the long run.
