If you spent a second on each planet of No Man's Sky it would take you 585 billion years to visit them all.
My friend told me this earlier.

I wonder how hard it was to design the game? Guess they just created a bunch of creatures, plants, minerals etc and got the engine to randomize them but it's done in such an impressive way.

Still need to know what kind of content is in the game besides that though...

Hoping you can join a friend and explore with them at the very least,

Played a few hours of Far Cry 4, sooo much more fun than GTA V and not too easy like 3 was enemies spot you from a lot further away.
It's just crazy how violent Kyrat is you can't walk in one direction for more than a few minutes without being attacked by something.

Pagan Min seems like a cool villain so far.

This time you're the son of a legendary hero/warrior or something instead of just a random tourist who's an expert marksman etc so it makes a lot more sense.

I love how seamlessly all the features blend together, grappling, wing glider...ing?, flying one man helicopters I remember when each of these things would be a huge thing in a game but it has them all as fairly standard parts of the game that are also easy to use.

So far I've not experienced any bugs, except one guy I shot with an arrow flew up about 3 metres but that's it, definitely put together a lot better than AC Unity that's for sure.

I assume you guys are getting No Man's Sky? Are you getting it for the PS4 or PC?

I ordered Far Cry 4 yesterday, expected them to ship it today, but my order is still being processed. :( Oh well, guess they have much work to do now when it's getting close to Christmas.

Edit: Never mind, literally just got a text saying they've sent my order now and it's on its way to me. Yay! :D

I will get No Man's Sky if it offers me more than mindless exploration. I like to have missions to follow. If I wanted to explore then I could easily do it in the real world. Plenty of s*** to see and experience even in this country. When it's bad weather I can retreat into my mind and do it that way. Being given a quest by someone else and achieving that goal is very satisfying. Much more so than randomly stumbling upon a new animal or plant with no reward.

Yeah so far it reeeeeally seems like the developers are going to go down the "exploration is it's own reward!" route, it's a game, it's not rewarding.

Would be cool if we do get to build our own empire kind of thing, collect powerful materials to build super weapons and fight other alien empires or other players...can the game fit it in though...
If it has that it could easily be a GOTY contender.

Gonna skip OR/AS because i'm not really into Hoenn all that much. I'm going to get X because I still haven't gotten that yet (right after I get SSB Wii U of course).

2015 looks like a promising year for gaming. Tekken 7, Mortal Kombat X, LoZ 2015, and others make for a pretty exciting year for gaming.

I'm hoping Amazon delivers quickly tomorrow, I have nothing to do until night time. I'll probably get up to like the 5th-6th gym in the first day lol.

Not gonna bother with Smash U for some time (possibly January-March of 2015)

Besides, Mewtwo ain't coming until Spring time so it's no big deal.

Hell yeah. I'll play like every day.

On a side note I did order the game cube adaptor since I don't think my parents bought that. Should arrive on the 25th or 26th.

I ordered that too. The bundle to be exact. I already have a GC controller, so I'm gonna use that for a while, seeing as my friend (who's in Brazil) won't be home until February. When that time approaches, I'll buy another GC controller, one of the newer.

I'll download Omega Ruby as soon as it becomes available on the eShop. I usually buy physical copies but since it's a game that I'll probably keep coming back to for months, it's more practical to just have the digital version so I can use it any time without needing the cartridge.
