Anyone played the new DLC for Mario Kart 8? I pre-ordered it months ago and downloaded it yesterday to try it out. I really like the new designed levels and the selection of retro stages are really good. The music is phenomenal as usual, but the new characters and modifications could've been better. I'm including Link in this equation too, as I'm not a big fan of him on a Kart :p

As for DKCR 3DS, I finally got the O, but I needed the super-juice to make my minecart invincible. :/

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

How many tracks are there in Mario Kart 8? In previous titles it always felt like there should be more to me, hope there's a lot of the classics in it.

10x4 as of right now, so 40. 8 more added in May will be 48. Very close to 50, which is a lot. I think more will be added later too.

Awesome, I look forward to beating my girlfriend at them all  and giving her a chance sometimes...

Her uncle is getting her the special edition of Bayonetta with 1 and 2, so I'm not sure if I should get any other games for her Wind Waker and that should be fine plus we can go shopping after Christmas.

She most definitely thinks it's a coffee machine, hope she won't be disappointed :errm:

Tuesday can't come fast enough at the stage now where I don't want to play through games so much as I want to build up a collection of them to play, I feel like just playing GTA Online a lot and being a d*** to everyone :D

In other Steve's game life related news in the Experimental branch of DayZ they've added cannibalism...
So it's going to have an even more hostile playerbase.
They seem to be doing everything they can to make it so that everyone just wants to kill each other, it's a shame it'd be really cool if there was an incentive to grouping up with people instead of shoot everyone you see all the time.

Hoping people will set up kind of roleplay servers where people fortify towns and live together to survive that'd be a lot of fun over people thinking they're military badasses just because they can left click to shoot and look round corners in third person.

Get her Wind Waker, it's such a good game to play together. It makes you chill at first, it eases you into the world, then shakes it up and makes it a true quest. Everybody loves Wind Waker.

It's one of my favourite games ever. I like to explore all the map as soon as I can.

Same.

I thought she was a hardcore Zelda fan but she's actually only played A Link Between Worlds so I need to educate her on what a good Zelda game is :p

Will probably have to play through it myself.

Supposed to get GTA V and Far Cry 4 today for new gen.

Got GTA V so far >.> which is of course the one I wanted least.

First game I've had on PS4 that took more than a minute to install, think it got stuck for a while. And then when you boot up the game it has to further install.
Something tells me it's a faaaaaaairly big game.

EDIT So yeah be wary of GTA V Online apparently there are a lot of hackers.
Just met someone in team deathmatch who obviously was, the weapons were only pickups which means the most basic ones in each class usually.
Dude one hit killed everyone from like any distance instantly, either he had a damage mod or he had a headshot one either way that was annoying apparently Rockstar left it very easy to hack and aren't doing much to fix it.

Hit the dude with a grenade and he lived, shot him 3 times with a shotgun and he was at half health.

I hate how people can't play games with legitimate skill, all the while thinking they're cool as f***.

I wonder if that's truly a legitimate amount though because it genuinely would be inpossible for you to check...
Freaking crazy game though considering it's to scale each planet is planet size you couldn't walk round them in 5 minutes.

I'm sitting waiting for Far Cry 4 to come through my letterbox as GTA V is disappointingly quiet online.

Stole a jet and there was never anyone to shoot with it >.>

I don't get why everyone thinks Vaas from Far Cry 3 was such an amazing villain he barely does or says anything throughout the whole game just a couple of quotes and hems generally crazy, he's just the real villain's lapdog.

The online mode looks interesting.

I can't wait until someone makes a free-roam RPG/MMO with our universe as the setting, scaled to size.

Overall I've been disappointed with HMCC, from a MP perspective. Sure, I can play the first three games in multiplayer, or all four campaigns and forge world and all that, but I want to play the fourth one in multiplayer. It's smart that they reduced the playlist size to just a couple options for faster matchmaking until they upgrade s***, but why did they take away Halo 4? It's ironic that I hated the game when I could actually play it when it was new, but now that it's back and was taken away again I crave it. I need to be able to run in a game, and the first three don't have that ability. 343 could put Halo 4 back online and it would be just fine. Please? :(

From what I hear, it would take like ten million years to traverse the entirety of elite dangerous... Now I'm sure they'll have some sort of in-universe method to traverse vast distances in a reasonable amount of time. Still, that's mind-boggling regardless of whether or not it is generated based on static or variable parameters.

If you spent a second on each planet of No Man's Sky it would take you 585 billion years to visit them all.

Apparently the Milky Way galaxy in Elite Dangerous is to scale. Every star and planet that we know of in real life is in the game. I can't wait to go to Earth and our solar system in the game.

Every ship has a 'Frameshift Drive' allowing it go jump into 'supercruise' allowing you to travel fast in a star system. And you can also jump into 'hyperspace' allowing you to travel between stars fast.
