Or maybe he's using this new place of power so that Spidey can't do much to him.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

Yeah does anyone know if it takes place in an established canon? I got bored of Spider-Man games many years ago so dunno if there's a running story.

As for playables I feel like they'll make that DLC, there's clearly a lot that's went in to this game so I don't think we can expect too much.
At the very least I hope we get different costumes that actually add other abilities instead of being purely cosmetic. That'd be neat.

Nah all the games take place in their own canon.

Even the ones based on the Sam Raimi movies took place on a different Earth than the Raimiverse, due to the many differences. Like Venom being a little better in the SM3 game.

I don’t know, he looked kinda thick in the ps3 version of Spider-Man 3 XD

Interesting thing is that this Spider-Man is gonna be in the newest Spider-Man event coming in the fall, Spidergeddon

I think we all like it better that way.

He was portrayed a little more solidly.

Mannnn, PS3 games are not how I remember them, holy s*** it's weird seeing old games you love, they look so real in your head then you see them again and holy s*** that's what it looks like!?

I remember digging out my PS2 and playing BLACK a couple of years ago. I was so excited, game looked amazing and it was such a good shooter, incredible AI and everything.
Then I played it and found you can just kinda walk about enemy soldiers and they totally fail at hitting you or even keeping up with you...

My girlfriend, easily my best soldier in X-COM 2 got captured...
I feel like I'm just prolonging failure at this point, things have sort of looked up but I only have 7 soldiers and are finding it impossible to train any s***ty Rookie's up, they're just so freaking bad and it's expensive to retrain them or hire experienced units.
This is the best the resistance has to offer? Pathetic.

I hope that the next game takes place after humans win and plays out sorta similarly to Independence Day: Resurgence, wherein which the weakling humans get a lot more advanced but the aliens come back even more powerful.
That'd be cool, I'd love to be using Sectopod style units against them and utterly wreck their invasion force...but then they take out the big guns.

Yeah, it doesn't look like a bad game or anything just not a TWD game. TWD doesn't suit being a fast paced co-op action shooter thing.

TWD needs something in the realm between State of Decay and TLOU I think, good focus on character with resource/populace management.
I feel like people are way over-hyping TWD. Neither the comics or the TV-show have been excellent at telling the story through the characters' eyes or developing the characters in a natural way.
Well that's purely your opinion but I'd say objectively you're still wrong there since TWD has a massive focus on character, so any game centred around it that doesn't kind of fails as a TWD game.
I second this.

Look no further than TellTale's TWD game, it's all about the characters.

Making a TWD game that is nothing but shooting zombies is probably the most redundant zombie thing ever in the realm of gaming. It takes away everything that makes TWD great, nay, it takes away everything that makes the best types of zombie apocalypses great. Marines and soldiers riddling the undead with bullets is hardly the most entertaining part of any zombie apocalypse for anyone, especially since we've already had tons of games about that.
Telltale has nothing to do with it. I said the show and I stand by what I said.
But Telltale because they focus on the characters and thus make some of the better story adaptations of it out there versus generic zombie shooter number 8071.
TWD is barely even about the zombies, regardless of how you feel about it.
Well, it could still turn out to be a story game. There's a lot of lore behind Payday 2 for instance.

It's definitely not a story focused game anyway, not like TWD is as a series.

Apparently there's going to be a Kill La Kill game, that's pretty random. That series is kinda old at this point. I can only assume it will have a meh budget, hopefully it's not just another Dynasty Warriors style anime game, that's always the go to.
I mean, it kinda works with KLK but on the other hand KLK needs awesome boss fights.

Another game to make the rest of the world think us anime fans are perverted weirdos
Mako better be playable.

Payday has lore? What is it about?
It has character lore.

For instance, between Payday and Payday 2 a character named Hoxton is arrested and put in prison. He is replaced by Houston who was called Hoxton up until a heist called 'Hoxton Breakout' where they rescue original Hoxton from prison. the new Hoxton is named Houston and the original Hoxton goes back to being called Hoxton. Houston is also the brother of (arguably) the main character Dallas.

Wow that sounds unfair

I'm not sure I'll play through it again so if they keep f***ing me at the end I might do that just for the hilarity.

So gaming addiction has been recognized as a legitimate disorder.

Somehow people have decided this classification means that "Gaming" is a disorder.
As in, gaming at all is a disorder.

I...just...ugh...reading comprehension.

Gaming addiction is a disorder? I'm . . . not so sure that it should be labeled as such. Just wait, soon it'll happen--Netflix addiction disorder.

It shouldn't be categorized as a 'disorder', it should be categorized as an 'addiction'.
