Well the job system isn't perfect. Sometimes it forces you to use a class which doesn't suit your style of play. I don't like that. I also don't appreciate how much extra grinding is needed just to make the new job adequate. I'd much rather just be able to select characters from a list who all do different things. But obviously not to the extent that Chrono Cross did it. That was too far.

I didn't like Bravely Default. It's similar to Final Fantasy III but it's more dull. And Final Fantasy III is not the most interesting rpg in the world by any means.

Ah XV. You know I have no issue at all with linear gameplay. What I do have a problem with is being forced to listen to s***ty dialogue, s***ty music like Leona Lewis, lame characters with names like Hope and ridiculous looking costumes. If it avoids all that then I will probably enjoy it. But please, don't make me play as a 15 year old boy unless he is a total bad a*** like Squall or Cloud. Squall and Cloud = cool, Hope and Vanille = lame.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

Well yeah but it's great when you find that one job you love or for me the look you like(Red Mages ftw) and then you can have your character be that.

Rather than a cool but otherwise useless character being crap most of the game you can buff them up, Bravely Defaults system is good in that you can train them up in every job and apply buffs from any to like Black Mage or something weak like that.
The game itself is...not fantastic.

Noctis seems fairly cool. I liked Lightning in FFXIII's...but she was the only character I didn't hate  such a stupid series with all the fal'cie or whatever the crap it was and the way it just threw stupid names like that at you like you'd remember them and know what you're even doing.
We have to go to Cocoon and then to Oerba and busdhzcmter and oh shut up.

Noctis is from a royal family and his eyes glow red, good enough.
Just hope he's not whiny...

Apparently guns are banned in the games world though some people still use them. I hope they're really rare, melee weapons and magic is so much more fun in battle recently played Resonance of Fate which is like 100% gunfighting in a turn based RPG and it was just...awful.

Picked up The Lego Movie game yesterday after going into town twice in the rain since the first time I forgot my money and had to get groceries. Beat the game, but I'm very underwhelmed by it. All the load times are a killer, even when you're only going to a level for a minute or so.

Preorded Infamous Second Son collector's edition then. Now I need convincing it was worth reserving it...

Film games... never worth it. I struggle to think of many good ones. I'm sure there are a few but I could probably count them on one hand.

Mmm. I couldn't agree more. Aside from PS1 games, the only movie tie-in game that I bought in recent years was that Wolverine Origins one and that was an exception in itself for not only being a great game but proving to be better than the movie itself. I also had Iron Man 1 & 2 but those games were so hideous mechanics wise I had to trade them in.

Ah yes the wolverine game was pretty good. Definitely better than the film. I actually really enjoyed Matrix: Path of Neo too.

I do. I get bored of anything if I play it for long enough.

Actually on that note, seems these days I don't have nearly as much patience for games as I used to. I can play an hour most it seems before fatigue sets in.

Yeah, me too. I spend most of my free time on PC.

Well, I want to know why Sony hasn't released much exclusives on the PS4. I see plenty of exclusives on the Xbox. Even if they weren't as high quality as the PS4 two exclusives (or how many?), they're pretty fun.

Sony is always slow off the mark to produce exclusive games. But when they do they bring out stuff like Heavy Rain and Uncharted.

Anyway, I seem to have trouble with my PS4.

On my UK account, I've downloaded Call of Duty Ghosts for 9 pounds. I still need my PS3 disc to play the game. Well, my main account is my US account. That's where I have all of my friends, and my 1 year PS subscription.

Now I want to know how can I access that game on my US account? What do I need?

I just finished playing Castle Crashers, what a fun game. I'm having a few friends over too so we can play it in multiplayer, woo!

Movies based on books made into games are sometimes good. LOTR: Battle for Middle-Earth 1&2 were both good, LOTR: Return of the King was good and the two first Harry Potter games were decent.

Is Ghosts on your PS4? I'm not sure you can have it on two accounts think you can only share discs not downloaded stuff but I dunno maybe it will recognize your disc and that you paid already.

Got DayZ yesterday and I've already put in over like 10 hours, this game is so absorbing...
The world is freaking massive I must have run around like at least 30 miles(guys legs must be made of steel now)
Died a few times but now I've lived for over 8 hours in one life so I don't feel so noobish, energized and hydrated and got too much stuff.
Only one gun though, shotgun, so if I meet people it will be dangerous...

This will be such a great game when it's finished and not broken. You can even make people get on their knees with their hands on their head and handcuff them if you want to be evil and torture or take some blood for a transfusion.
Still don't really like using the mouse and keyboard, handy for all the keys but it feels so clumsy for movement.
I think they could only really port it to PS4, Xbox doesn't have enough buttons where the touchpad could be used for many. Although there's Kinect but that would probably be really fiddly.

Some game based movies are good, the first two Resident Evil movies and DOOM are anyway I think the Halo based ones are supposed to be good too.
I'd like some kind of Last Of Us spin off like set in the same world perhaps earlier following different people, the Clickers and whatnot are way scarier than zombies.
Hopefully they won't milk it's popularity and make tons of games from it would just get silly like Assassins Creed.
