@Arkadom: I cleared out the Research Hall but I didn't see who you were talking about.

I haven't played Bloodborne yet

Do you have PS Plus on PS4? It's the free game this month.
What, the ground floor? You might need to go into the frontier and clear that first, I haven't touched that part of the game in a long while.

The fact you got access to Iosefka's clinic and made it to Cainhurst is pretty good, Logarius is definitely a pain if you're not ready to dance around him constantly.

Yeah he definitely was.

Beat the Wet Nurse. I could've ended the game, but I didn't want to die so I decided to fight that dirtbag Gehrman. Wow is he tough. First time I fought him I got him down to about 25% of his health. But then he wrecked me with one attack. Tried a couple times after that and I swear he got harder. I'll probably try and level up a bit more.

Edit: I was curious as to what most peoples levels were when they usually beat the game so I looked it up. Looks like most people are around the 80s. I'm only level 68 LOL.

Edit 2: Well I beat Gehrman and now I have another boss, yay. I got wrecked instantly. Moon's Presence, I'll be killing you shortly.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

Yeah I beat that second or third try was just like "Oh...so much for the super secret mega boss  "

Have you played Nioh? Should check that out if not. It's very Souls-like but has a fast pace so is most like Bloodborne.
It's awesome, the combat is really fluid and once you learn it you can do some pretty mad combos.
It has the whole high, mid and low stance thing so you have to quickly adjust what way you're attacking when met with certain enemies.

I'd definitely advise you to get the DLC, it's next-level for an already stellar game.

Hey, guys, if you haven't played Curse of Monkey Island yet it's available for pretty cheap on Steam as of now. It's worth it.

So, Sea of Thieves is pretty crap.

A shame, I still have absolutely no desire to get an Xbox. With all their money I really don't understand why Microsoft can't do better or more likely why they don't.

As many have said, No Man's Sea. It's basically the same deal really, massive overhyped game that has barely any content and what content there is, is repetitive as heck.
Find a map, go to an island, solve obvious riddle, find chest, take it to outpost, get gold.
Repeat ad infinitum.
Save up like 13000 gold and get a hat, yay.

Actually if anything it's far worse than No Man's Sky because at least in that you had a goal and there was some progression to it, getting better ships and being able to travel larger distances.
No Man's Sea is just: Get more money to get more money to get more money to buy pointless cosmetic items that don't enhance the experience.

For £50 that's kind of ridiculous, it seems like a free to play game.

Which is a damn shame because the graphics are gorgeous. There was huge potential completely untapped here.

Did you play Sea of Thieves? If you say no, I will not take your comment seriously because I will defend Rare to the end.

It truly was a Shawshank redemption

Not sure if anyone'll be interested in this long post, but I wanted to post about it somewhere. Feel free to ignore.

I started playing my Plymouth Argyle Football Manager file again after a lengthy absence. I forgot how emotionally involved you can get in the game. I stopped playing last time because my team, after starting really well (as high as 2nd), suddenly decided to stop getting results. I was dropping points and dropping down the table (not too far, around 5-6, which considering I was a relegation candidate to start the season wasn't actually that bad). I drew my first game back and went down 1-0 quickly in the second and thought 'oh great, pick up where we left off'. I ended up winning that second game 3-2 and then finished the season off strongly (11 games unbeaten).

The closing stretch was intense though. 6 of my last 9 fixtures were against teams in the promotion race. I did well enough to get to the last 2 games of the season at the top of the table on goal difference. My last two games: 3rd place, who were only 1 point behind the top two, and 2nd place, who we were equal on points with. I drew against 3rd (Torquay, so a derby) after going 1-0 up, falling victim to an own goal. That left me needing a win to secure the title. We actually dominated the game, but were only 2-0 up midway through the second half. Then the own goal wizard struck again (same f***ing player somehow). It stayed 2-1, but those last 10 minutes were nervy and included a crucial save by my keeper in literally the last seconds of the game. We were at home too, to make victory even sweeter.

I won Manager of the Year, but somehow we only had one player in the Team of the Year. We're still in a bad financial situation; our actual balance is fine, but we have so many monthly repayments to keep up with and the board are really strict on my wage budget (which means I'm not able to sign players on expiring contracts). Our team probably isn't League One quality, but we'll give it a go. It's good to have an enjoyable FM save again.

Have you?

I'm not sure if Rare are to blame but someone is, can see it being Microsoft. It literally seems like an unfinished or free to play game, eerily similar to No Man's Sky. I can certainly see corporate meddling.

Either way game is pretty dull, most people who enjoyed the beta were expecting way more since they said it was only like 30% of the content but the other 70%...is just more of the same stuff

I've seen this sentiment echoed over and over, and it's definitely not some pre-conceived boycott because everyone wanted Sea of Thieves to be amazing and Rare's track record was promising at worst, unfortunately seems like this game was either too ambitious or was not ambitious enough for the scope of the game they made. It's impossible for a game like this to be on a smaller scope but the actual size of it winds up feeling ridiculously empty. I tried the beta and felt a lot of potential but the more I hear about the game the more it sounds like I played the full game on a restricted map.

I just hope if it does get a lot of improvement work done it isn't too late like it was for No Man's Sky.

It really doesn't matter if I've played it or not. You're the one who is saying it sucks, which you really shouldn't if you haven't played it. Don't judge the book by it's cover.
