Well then . . . Bloodborne is starting off a lot harder than Dark Souls III did.

Dark Souls III is really easy I find.

Bloodborne's fast pace makes it much harder to get used to, like those big f***ing werewolf things, they're so damn fast and strong. I couldn't kill those for aaaaages.

It'll get easier when you find a weapon type you like. I think Kirkhammer was my favourite for most of the game.

Welcome to the game son. Have fun being absolutely ripped into the first hour or two, and then gradually getting better until you become a badass, only to get ripped a new one come the next area.

I didn't find the start of Bloodborne all that difficult because I was already used to the playstyle, it's how I play these games naturally whereas the shield and poke playstyle had to be learned, but when the actual built in difficulty spikes started hitting around the rise of the blood moon I started to really struggle.

Gascoigne is a master class in hard but fair story bosses. Especially as the first required boss fight.

Perfectly introduces you to the flow of the 2 general types of bosses throughout the rest of the game.

Except for the orphan. Nothing prepares you for the orphan if you're going in blind.

Geez and people say Dark Souls III's boss is hard. This guy is a butt. I got one big hit on him, I'm guessing I have to do more of those to actually do real damage . . .

Here's how I'd rank these games in order of difficulty:

Demon's Souls > Bloodborne > Dark Souls > Dark Souls II > Dark Souls III

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

I'm guessing we'll get an announcement for From Software's next title at E3, as much as I like the Souls-like games I would like to see a new formula but with the same idea of difficulty.

Would also be nice if it made me want to engage in multiplayer/co-op stuff, I always find more prideful value in going it alone.

I had a lot of fun helping people in Nioh though, if they could make the online stuff more fluid like that I'd partake. In Nioh it's super easy to find someone that needs help or to get someone to help you. In every Souls game I find I'm sitting waiting ages to join a game or be joined, to the point where if someone is invading me half the time I'll just run through the area and leave.

From already announced their next project late last year, we just know absolutely F.A about it.

They definitely need to revamp their multiplayer system, it has not improved enough in the 8 years it was in use between Demon Souls and DS3.

Oh, I meant more like some actual details and...I'm pretty sure it wasn't given a name? Perhaps I misremembered.

The teaser was very grotesque and Bloodborne-y anyway.

It did look very Bloodborne with an oriental twist. Imagine the grotesque horror aesthetic and atmosphere but instead of the gothic Victorian setting it could be twisted temple gardens lined with blood stained paper lanterns and menacing towers with Amygdala's crawling through valleys.
