Woo, finally got a win on solo Fortnite. Didn't even kill a single person lol. The circle got so small on the map I couldn't see it because my cursor was too big. Anyways, I was in Tilted the entire game and this guy at the end had a platform above me and I was on the ground. So I shot the platform, but when I did he shifted off to the side and ended up dying in the storm lol. I deserve this win, I've had so many freaking second places.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

Lol I haven't cared about a shooter in ages, Fortnite and PUBG look cool but...I know I'd get bored of playing the same thing over and over.

Apparently Battlefield 5 is being revealed soon.

YES, HYPE.

Oh...oh wait...EA publishes it, now I can't be excited <_<

Not pre-ordering this one anyway. Hopefully they've learned their lesson from Battlefront 2.
If it's in modern day and only has like 10 guns on release they can get f***ed, BF3 had like 60 or more and many more were added in DLC or just by free.

Battlefield have never been bad as a series though. It's always well-balanced. Just because it's EA doesn't make it inherently bad.

I finally got my first Fortnite solo win. Took long enough. Ended up getting 2 tonight.

The balance of BF1 is pretty bad as is the progression system, there's only like 4 guns worth having and you can buy them whenever you want instead of having to work towards the good weapons like all the good multiplayer FPS titles.

I'm optimistic that they'll have learned some lessons but this is the game industry, the industry where they've patented techniques to psychologically manipulate people to buy more things with matchmaking rather than balance them to players of their skill level.

EA is either going to improve out of necessity or get worse, their shareholders will not be pleased if they keep losing money so who knows how they'll tackle it.
The easy option is please your fans but none of these big companies ever seem to think of that

Think I am gonna get Metro 2033 soon...although I wouldn't mind checking out Ni No Kuni II...GAH.
Still on the fence about God of War, I think I'll get it at some point but not at launch.

Really want to see more of this Spider-Man game, please be awesome.

I'm hugely surprised we're getting a Burnout Paradise remaster.

I'll definitely be picking it up, shame it's not Revenge though.

I always hope these things mean sequels are abound if they sell well.

I'm interested anyway, only ever played the demo but it was fun. Probably one of the last driving games I enjoyed on any level.

Yeah, my second one came only a few games after the first. It wasn't that many games, less than 200, but I felt like I should have gotten one a lot quicker. I just never knew what to do in top 5 situations and always ended up screwing it up. I've been playing a lot better of late though (probably because I've been playing it a bit more again) and I'm a lot more decisive, which is a big component of the game. I also feel a lot more comfortable playing after settling on my own play style.

I'd recommend the remaster for sure. The DLC it comes with added some great stuff and an entire new island of content. The soundtrack is absolutely stellar as well.

I agree on the hopes that unexpected remasters will lead to sequels. Apparently the Crash Bandicoot series is getting a new entry after last year's remaster trilogy, and of all games MediEvil is getting a remaster which fully made me leap out of my chair when I saw the trailer. So if I'm gonna get to play my long-awaited MediEvil 3 or Burnout 6 then I will be a very happy man.

Ah yeah I forgot about MediEvil!

When I played that I was too young to get what the f*** was going on but I still have fond memories of it.

Hopefully a lot of classics like that come back, older games got it right. Most of these newer games like Yooka-Laylee try but just don't have the charm or the gameplay.

I'm still here hoping for a reboot of the Resistance series, not sure why Sony just abandoned that exclusive. Perhaps it didn't do super well but still a cool franchise. The level variety was awesome.

I'm just hoping none of the charm is lost on the remaster, Dan looks fine but the zombie that showed up briefly looked very cartoony and goofy, whereas the originals had a good mix of cartoony style and actual horror elements. I do hope they do something about the combat though, the originals were very, very clunky which I discovered upon playing through again recently.

Kind of hope they take a page out of the Dark Souls book in that regard, I've always felt like Dark Souls' gameplay was a more grounded and modern take on the old combat anyway. Just a lock-on feature would vastly improve the combat in Medievil.

Burnout Paradise is great. I like the open world aspect of it, although it doesn't quite live up to Burnout 3: Takedown for me.

I think I've finished Paradise 2 or 3 times, it's such a fun game to come back to every time. Great replayability.
