My point was interest though not expense, if some really good VR games come out people will want them more since the Switch isn't really doing anything special.
I think it's very special what they are doing. But I know I'm discussing with an anti-Nintendo guy here :P
But what is special about it though?

It's just a more powerful handheld.

In like 3-4 years every handheld will be as powerful as it or close enough. It's really not a huge leap forward, like the Wii was for motion controls.
Who's gonna make handhelds? Microsoft doesn't make handheld consoles and I doubt Sony is gonna make a new one.

You really can't see anything positive in the Switch? Is it all about graphics and power for you?

Nintendo is making a console you can take with you anywhere, so you can either play alone in the park or whatever, or so you can play with friends everywhere, not only inside but outside aswell.
Nobody else can really do this.

Handhelds as in iPads and whatnot as well as anything by Sony or Microsoft if they give it another go.

It's not that I don't see anything positive I just don't see anything particularly revolutionary about it.
Aside from the games you can play there's nothing better about outdoor the experience than a Vita or 3DS. And then the indoor experience doesn't provide anything that amazing compared to what other pieces of kit can already do.

Like if you don't have any consoles at all, great.

But if you have an X1, PS4 or even a PC then literally the only draws are the games, of which there aren't many for a long time so far and if you don't care about the first party titles a lot you're getting lower quality ports of Skyrim and the like.

On my to do list...along with Witcher 3 and loads of others >.>

I really want to play DOOM next though just have so many that it's daunting to start any.

Very under rated game imo, the multiplayer isn't all that but the single player experience is fantastic, which is rare these days for FPS.

But you can't play with friends on one single Ipad. I doubt Microsoft and Sony are gonna try to do this, and if they do they are once again copying Nintendo, which proves the revolutionary innovation.

It's better because it has better graphics than a Vita, 3DS and any tablet. I think you really underestimate the specs of the Switch. No, it's not as powerful as a PS4 or a Xbox One, but it's not far off at all. Games like Skyrim will still look smooth as all hell and many people would want to buy it for the option to play it outside.

But you know, fine if you don't want any of the first-party games. That's what Nintendo has been about for years, not making a console that can play every single new graphical wonder game. So if you are a graphics nut, then this is probably not for you.

I doubt they will because not many people have been asking for it, it's like couch co-op, it's basically not a thing any more because most people just game online with friends which works better and is easier to do for developers.

I really doubt that many care about it going outside, people play mobile games outside because not many people have the opportunity to play anything extensive for more than a few minutes.
Sure, some people might go sit under a tree to play Skyrim but undoubtedly a small fraction of the target market. Skyrim outside, glare on the screen, people around you...or just at home on your nice 4K TV.

The issue there is people care about hardware now more than ever and to that great many people Nintendo is simply putting forward an inferior product.
The target market for it's unique features just isn't that big, people just want more Nintendo, specifically the first party games.

Apparently they think it'll ship 40 million units which is extremely ambitious, that's nearly 4 times what the Wii-U has sold.

Can't see that happening unless they FINALLY put Pokémon on console, proper Pokémon not just a Colosseum type game. Considering the hype Pokémon GO got despite being a tiny mobile game that's their best choice.

I found a really good gaming mouse online through this URL: http://www.jenreviews.com/best-gaming-mouse/. It also received positive reviews. So I brought it and so far, the mouse is working perfectly well with my PC system. I highly recommend it to anyone, who is into PC gaming especially when it comes to playing first-person shooting games.

Anybody else got or getting Nioh?

I just got it today about to play it in a moment.

Strikingly like Dark Souls but like Bloodborne it looks pretty good, Feudal Japan is a pretty cool setting too.

Apparently there's a bit more story to it than the Dark Souls games too so that sounds good.

I look forward to killing demons in the stupidest looking outfit.

I tried the multiple alphas, betas, and demos and I could never get past a certain point so I just gave up.

Too difficult for me lol.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

I downloaded the last chance trial and was going to play it the other day...didn't know it was a timed trial so it wouldn't let me -_-

Been needing something a bit challenging. Modded Fallout 3 is fun but it's still Fallout not exactly the hardest game.

The fighting format suits me too Nioh is more about offense, I'm the sort of person that forgets there's a block button half the time.

BUTTON BASHING IS THE WAY
ALWAYS

EDIT Lol, so here's my first death:

PROTIP read the names of gestures before you use them...

I think the guard came and attacked me because I taunted him...

This was before the game told me how to block and I didn't realize how to get out the menu thing, literally like 30 seconds in to gameplay.

Pretty fun so far, only 5 minutes or so in to it but it's nice and fast paced already have 4 different weapons, not like Bloodborne where you're stuck with like 2 for ages.
Got a spear and a battle axe even, hell yeah.

I like to watch the Dark Souls games on Youtube or Twitch, but I could never get into it myself. I didn't have fun with it since it was too hard.

It becomes quite easy once you get a feel for it. I gave up on my first play through of Dark Souls 1, but I later went back and finished it along with 2, 3 and Bloodborne. All of them were worth my time and money.

Anyone getting Halo Wars 2?

Oh Nioh is much better than Dark Souls or Bloodborne...you get your own POKÉMON

"Guardian Spirit" clearly Pokémon.

Nioh is actually kind of...not easy but...less harsh?

You get a lot more healing items to use, a lot more laying around, different stances for different moves and great weapons as well as the ability to regain Ki(stamina) if you press a button at the right time.

You just die super quick so it has more of a focus on offense and dodging. Works great with the enemies so far, nothing has been needlessly tanky.

It's a little more approachable than Dark Souls but there's a lot more to it as well. There's also bows, guns, shurikens, bombs, kunai, ninjutsu skill sets and magic skill sets.
It's almost a shame that Dark Souls has never bothered to flesh out what it has in terms of mechanics and such.

I still can't believe the Switch comes out in less than a month. So excited, might have to eat less food next month.

I'm not sure I'll play the new Zelda, my girlfriend will probably get it for the Wii-U so I might just play it with her.

Though she still has to play the ultimate Zelda game that is Wind Waker. I refuse to let her play the new one when she hasn't even heard Makar's tune.
Or the ultimate Zelda experience that is roaming around with those weird things that jump and stick to you to weigh you down.

Wind Waker is good, but not top 3 for me.

a Link to the Past is my favorite, then comes Ocarina of Time and last Link's Awakening.
