No point for me to get it since I have an Xbox One that has more that can be done. No reason whatsoever for me to grab the PS4 version. |

Yeah pointless if you have both consoles for sure. I enjoy the base game plenty anyway only mods that interest me are major overhaul ones that give you a completely new experience. Microsofts Hololens thing looks so boring... What's the point in having a virtual room to have your favourite apps on? Why would you want to spend however long setting it up to use when you're already on your Xbox/PC and accomplish the same thing much faster. Some of the utilities look cool but for the price point? Only the rich and/or misinformed will be buying it. Who knows, maybe they'll make some good games for it...like they did the Kinect... |

Bought a game on Gog.com called Guild of Dungeoneering and I have no idea how to explain what it is. You're basically taking a hero through a dungeon that you create as you go. You get handed cards which determine how the dungeon turns out and you construct it accordingly. Same thing with battles. Combat works like a card game where you need to beat your opponents hand. I found it surprisingly enjoyable. |

Poor Titanfall 2. It has absolutely no chance of success being released just after Battlefield 1 and just before Infinite Warfare. Not sure what the publisher was thinking, as if it could ever contend with those giants even if CoD is complete garbage. IW seems hilariously bad though, the story is just the same drivel BUT IN SPACE OMG. That's basically all they've done set some of it in space and put Kit Harington in it to attract attention. You'd think that with all the money they make they could afford to actually make a solid product, they could probably destroy the competition. Rather than just recycling everything from gameplay to story. |

It's funny how everybody (including myself) have been panning Call of Duty for years, but the story campaign for every game is actually quite riveting. Yes, it's basically more of the same, but we are only disliking it because of that. Many other games do the same thing, Battlefield did it with Battlefield 3 and 4, what's REALLY the difference between the two games? Buildings can be blown up and crumble to the ground? |

Yeah there really isn't much besides gameplay style but the problem has always been that CoD just feels the same all the time. Virtually every campaign has you betrayed by some special military force you are in at the beginning and then you as a one man army take it down against all odds. Not that you could expect something of extreme substance but...anything different would please people. Still enjoying Skyrim a lot haven't even touched the DLC yet. Trying to think of some fun playthroughs to do, like a Green Arrow one where I'm only allowed to wear Glass armour and use a Glass bow with Glass arrows. Only annoying thing is it takes hours to get to the point where you can have any of that without cheating so it could get dull. |

Hey guys, I need your help. I got a gig writing articles for a video gaming blog, and I need some suggestions. It's kind of hard to pump out an article every week when video games take so much time to play. Can anyone suggest some short indie games that I could play and talk about? They would need to have substance to them--something worth delving into. I'm thinking I might replay Limbo, Inside, and Brothers, and I have ideas for a couple of other games, but I'll need a backlog if I'm going to keep it up. |

There's plenty of good indie games out there. Fez, Game Dev Tycoon, Magicka to name a few. |

But games worth writing about? I'm not talking reviews, I'm talking thematic analyses. :P |

I was gonna suggest Persona 4 but that isn't exactly short... Maybe the recent jump from the artistic games being held up by big companies (Shadow of the Colossus) to becoming a mostly indie thing (brothers and Limbo as you pointed out)? That's not exactly similar either though... Westerado has a little bit of interesting stuff at the end but I wouldn't think that's enough to do something on. Certainly not compared to that article you recently linked. Furi emotionally effected Goddess Ultimecia but you'll have to ask him regarding themes and such, I haven't played it. Furi's more a different experience rather than anything like, super deep. It's a silent protagonist who needs to find out what they are, and what they're supposed to do, and why they what they had done to them, done to them. Along the way there's three endings. Each one you could easily justify. |

Uh, the betrayal stuff only really began in Advanced Warfare, and even then, that ended with the antagonist dead, but the enemy faction still being very much alive (heck, I think that the last time the enemy faction was defeated was BO2 I think, and even then, that lead into the story for bo3) Anyways, my friend got me skyrim (we usually gameshare). Gotta say I definitely appreciated him doing that (he also made me a fan of Fifa 17 XD) Edited by Dbzk1999, Nov 8 2016, 04:01 AM.

Depending on how well you get a handle on the mechanics anywhere from forty minutes to a few hours. |
