Is dark Souls 3 better than Zelda Ocarina of time?
Kinda question is that? No, it's not.

Why can't i ask that? This isn't religion where everybody thinks OoT is the greatest thing since slice bread. :p

Because the Dark Souls games aren't in any way groundbreaking. Sure, they are good games all-around mostly, but OoT had a much bigger impact on gaming.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

I wouldn't say that makes it a better game outright though.

In any case not really a question any person can answer since they're vastly different games. I find Dark Souls games much more satisfying overall. Zelda hasn't done anything remarkably interesting for years.

I can list objective reasons why Dark Souls III is not better than Ocarina of Time.

1. The story is deliberately vague and somewhat convoluted from what little is explained.
2. The challenge level and adult content mean the game is not suitable for everyone.
3. It lacks any memorable characters.
4. The soundtrack is generic.
5. There aren't any enjoyable mini games.

1. True but it's an interesting enough world and finding out the mystery can be fun(not that I've ever bothered)

2. But on the other side of the coin Ocarina of Time is pretty easy to adults who're experienced in games so it doesn't necessarily appeal to everyone.

3. Who's really all that memorable in OoT though? Ganon, Zelda I guess, the girl at the ranch you don't get to seduce, the owl and most everyone else is really just a side character. Not that I disagree about Dark Souls.

4. Eh it's kinda good, not as fun as OoT's but it's not that sort of game.

5. Not true. Getting fed up of fighting the same enemies and trying to run through an area without getting hit is great fun. When you succeed...

What does Xbox have that can really contend with TLOU's fame? I feel kinda bad for Xbox there's not really anything that makes other platforms jealous. A shame Quantum Break isn't it, looked a solid concept initially but they just made it in to a TV show in a way people don't seem to like.

It really confuses me how misguided some games can be like I'm sure most people could look at the development for Quantum Break and right away be able to suggest some improvements. Devs are typically gamers themselves but don't get what people want often...tis odd.

1. Is Doom really this easy?
Spoiler: click to toggle

2. How much are you willing to pay for next generation ps5 games or VR?

I'd imagine that's on normal or one of the people that made the game so they know what they're doing.

Love how people moan about the game because the multiplayer isn't fantastic, why does every game need to be about the multiplayer...
It's only really there to shut people up because they'd b*** like no tomorrow if it was single player only.

So annoying how arbitrary multiplayer is now.

Which is a bit strange since Siege launched without any single player, Wolfenstien launched without multiplayer, and both were praised as great games. If it helps any, at least development time isn't being wasted on it, it's made by a different company.

Also has Anyone been playing Invisible, Inc.? I think it's amazing honestly.

It really kinda worries me how well received a lot of multiplayer games are, I hope gaming always has a solid single player experience behind it.

Yet to see a multiplayer game one could consider any form of art. Nevermind one that...well, has a good story at all really.
Unless publishers can find ways to put micro-transactions in to singleplayer games more often there's probably going to be less and less of them as time goes on.

At least indie devs will probably always try to be a bit different.

The thinking that forces Doom to have multiplayer is the same kind of thinking that forces Battlefield to have (terrible) single player.

...by that logic football must not be very valuable, what game of football could one consider art? Cars are also bad, how am I supposed to freeze anything with it? You're applying standards to certain things which are in no way built for. I mean let's be honest, are you really interested in the lore of Chess, or it's deeper meaning in regards to our world? You're probably not thinking about that when playing it with someone right? And I mean the game itself not how it was made and such, that could just as well apply to multiplayer games.

Depends if you one of the first gen xbox 360 or slim edition. I trade my xbox 360 elite in and only got $20 credit.

Or you can wait and sell it on ebay for a higher price

That's not what I was getting at there, a game doesn't need to be art to be good but artistic games offer far deeper experiences than just shooting people in the face in a competitive multiplayer shooter.

While fun at times if gaming was only that...well that would just be dull.

I really want to start playing Project Zomboid again but need to see if I can play it with my PS4 controller and keyboard, that'd be awesome. Moving around with the keyboard and pressing E to do various contextual actions just feels clunky.
Have asked on the Steam forumy thing if it can be done, hopefully I get more constructive replies than "omg consol pesant"
