No. I have a desktop computer and a laptop. In fact, right now I have two functioning laptops.

I do my gaming on the desktop and I use my newest laptop in bed watching videos and such.

I wish instead of making you take more damage and have less chance to recover lost health as a way to increase difficulty developers just make improved AI.
Yeah I find that frustrating about most games the extra difficulty rarely changes much.

Like if the AI is stupid and you figure out how to mess with it...no matter the mode you play on it's an easy win. Except in games where you have to rely on random chance and stuff.

Great AI seems hard to make but I don't get why developers can't just make s*** AI for easy mode, slightly less s*** AI for normal, decent for hard and then good for very hard.
Even if the AI isn't stellar on the hardest mode then there's at least a significant change in how they operate that you'll have to get used to.

Crappy AI in Easy mode makes it difficult to enjoy the game. Crappy AI ruins any experience and dampens people's enjoyment of the game.

Yeah, you can't just make outright bad ai in easy mode, it's possiblypossible to struck a balance but the ai should at least feel competent on whether difficulty you're on. At least relative to your skill level, but that can create problems if you go too far. Lys its kind of a waste to gate good ai from the bad players, not to mention bass ai can also teach bad habits, making harder ai even worse to deal with.

I find easy mode makes it difficult to enjoy most games anyway  unless you're purely going for story but crappy AI that makes the gameplay exceedingly easy helps such a thing.

I think AI should always scale up and give you new challenges. Enemies taking and giving more damage isn't much of a challenge in most cases, stay behind cover or whatever and you're fine.
No matter what difficulty you play Fallout 3, New Vegas and 4 on if a Deathclaw is running at you...get up high or go in a building. Shoot them, they'll run away, step out the building, they'll run back, at the last second go in and repeat.
Literally the only difference between difficulty levels there is how long it takes to kill the thing.

If AI doesn't really improve with difficulty level then all changed statistics do is make a game more tedious in the end.

Only really works in something like XCOM where you have to rely on hit chances and such, if there was a difficulty that made it so that your guy would have a 50% chance to hit no matter how close they were then it'd probably take forever to beat the game.
Still tedious but it's a handicap that works in that kind of game.

Another example of how not changing the AI is just a borefest is MGSV. Fighting the Skulls on harder difficulties is a nightmare. You can't do much damage to them on any mode with guns anyway but to kill them you have to wait for them to do a specific attack, press a button to counter it which makes Snake stab them with their own machete.
Done that like 20 times to one dude and he still didn't die, the only difficulty there is staying awake long enough to beat them 'cause urghhhhhh...

Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves on NES. What a terrible game. Except of course for the boss battle against a Baron who does ninja flips/rolls.

Lol I've not played that but I've seen people complain that it has s***ty 2D graphics from the 80's. And that it's a s***ty platformer that belongs in the retro era and can't possibly be fun today.

How.
Can.
Someone.
Be.
That.
Dense.

On that note I really want to play all the cool indies I've got from PS+ but there are so many that I just tend to download them and never bother

EDIT Microsoft has cancelled Fable Legends and is shutting down the studio that made it.
Are they even serious? People love that series don't they? Bet tons were excited for the game. Not that I know anything about them really.

EDIT 2 Ah it's a four-vs-one spinoff kind of game guess that's why. Those things really aren't doing so good these days :p

After Fable III I don't think anyone gives a s*** about that franchise any more. The guy who made it always promises so much but never delivers.

Fable never interested me. My best friend played the franchise, but I think he stopped at some point.

There was also another Xbox game he played where you control a bunch of demon minions. Overlord is the game. Funny how I actually had to specify 'demon' on Google otherwise there's just a bunch of search results and images of the Despicable Me minions.

Oh no don't mention Minions and games you'll give them ideas for a million s***ty Minion games!

I want to get a game for my girlfriend for the Wii-U but can't think of anything. She likes Zelda and Bayonetta as well as Mario Kart.

She has Wind Waker but hasn't completed it so don't really want to stack Twilight Princess HD on that.
She was interested in Hyrule Warriors but turned off over the kind of game it is.
Tis tricky...

Might just leave it and get Pokémon for the both of us the Nintendo section in the only game shop for miles is sad, there are more Amiibo's and Skylander figures than games by far.

There's already a bunch of Minions games out there, mainly for Facebook and iOS/Android. With the success of Despicable Me and the Minions movie, I'm sure games are on the way anyway.

Not gonna lie, I would totally play a Minion themed Command and Conquer-esque game. That or a Dynasty Warriors Reskin.
