I'll admit, I'm not sure I know what is up with the hype behind No Man's Sky. What separates from the X series or Elite Dangerous exactly? All I know is that it apparently has a randomly generated galaxy? In other news, clash Royal is probably among my favorite mobile games right now. It's kind of a mix between tower defense, card games, and kinda sorta RTS? You use cards, and if they're a unit then you place them somewhere on your side (or part of the opponent's side if you destroyed one of their towers), and if it's a spell you just point to what you want the spell to kill. The matches actually feel a bit intense and desire my winning streak my multiplayer matches have been really close overall. It's pretty simple but I've definitely been enjoying myself with it. I hear there's actually an esports scene in Asia, and here you can actually watch other players play a match. |

I think the difference is that you don't do space battles and actually go to the planets in the galaxies. |

Only an i3? Cool I could run that... Yeah it definitely needs something more to it but we still don't know much about it really. I hope there's a lot of cool PVP stuff. Being in a literal universe so big you might never find another player in is a cool concept but it'd definitely get lonely and boring. Hopefully you can spawn in with friends at least. As well as have player controlled galactic wars, that'd be awesome. There is some sort of faction system in it and you can hire alien armies so I hope that is a thing. Some kind of Battle Royale mode on a single planet would be cool too. The game isn't about PVP but God damn there's so much potential! I feel like it could be one of the greatest games of the decade if they haven't been shortsighted and think endless exploring will satisfy people. Once you've explored your 50th planet I imagine it will be a struggle to keep going. |

You can do space battles in No Man's Sky though and you can land on planets in Elite (airless worlds only atm). I believe they're going the Elite Dangerous route a bit. The "Do whatever the f*** you wanna do" route. Although, I've heard No Man's Sky has a goal, get to the center of the universe. |

Yeah that's the goal but I'm not sure if it's actually an attainable thing for an individual or if it's a case of "The universe is so big but if thousands of people are looking one will find it eventually" It doesn't sound like something we'll be able to individually experience unless we get lucky. So I hope there is a lot of epic space combat because the universe has it's own functioning economy so it'd be damn cool to have player generated events. Wonder what happens when nobody plays it anymore? Surely the game has an expiration date essentially. |

It's not exactly what I'm looking for it's just I want that kind of intense freedom in a massive game. Having a player run economy and galactic factions who trade, negotiate, form alliances, break up and have wars just sounds awesome in a game that's not actually about that. Isn't that Godzilla game awful? I've looked at a few reviews of it, AngryJoe in particular...well he didn't love it I'll say that much I mean like a AAA budget Godzilla game, there's so much potential there but people don't seem to risk it. Licensed movie games are typically awful but there are some really good gems hidden away that won't be made since the actual product is usually a crappy cash grab. The King Kong game was awesome. It somewhat went off the point of the movie but it was still an all round good game in my opinion. Loved it on the GameCube. |

It's bad if you compare it with previous games. You won't know until you try it. There's never going to be an AAA game for Godzilla, the point of the franchise is for the budget to not be very big, that's why the last one disappointed so many people, even if some hardcore fans really liked how they handled some things. The only real problem with it is that it's quite short. The previous fighting games didn't have that problem. I don't see what potential you're seeing in the western 2014 Godzilla, there's zero stuff they can use for a game there, and a game where you just stomp cities is really boring, every Godzilla movie maker understands that, even Roland Emmerich with the 1998 abomination. Again, it might be fun, but don't expect it to be great if you plan to play it. |

If you want freedom in a massive game, then try Elite Dangerous. 400,000,000,000 star systems for you to explore. |

What about a Godzilla fighting game? The series has enough lore and characters for it to work. Just have modern Godzilla be the default skin and the rest are unlocked/bought. That has potential, Injustice, Persona 4 Arena, and Jojo were all good fighting games. |
