Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

I've never really cared for the Borderlands series but it's been a lot of fun playing it with the missus.

Super easy though it's only hard when your team mate isn't as good at games as you and runs head first in to a group of strong enemies, gets rekt and then sends them your way before you form a strategy...

It's pretty broken how fast you can get a shield that heals you in the game.

Also the car one hit kills everything you run over so far as I can tell...

We're at level 10, gonna go run over some level 20 suckers and rocket up levels  5 levels above you is almost one hit kill so killing level 20 dudes should be lucrative...n'yeeessss

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

So if anyone was unsure about what Ubisoft was going for with The Division, turns out people basically aren't allowed to review it until it's out, the servers won't be on so you can't get any legit info on how good it is until after you may have already bought it.

That's f***ing genius, they're going to make a ton of money from that, it'll be a few days before people can learn how shallow it is outside of Beta so they're gonna make millions off the hype train and the first few hours of the game having all the interesting bits in it so nobody on Steam can refund it.

Considering they're too afraid to possibly have reviewers be honest about the game that speaks to me about how great a game it's likely to be.

Seen tons of epic commercials for it to get people revved up.

When will people stop falling it?
In a few months they're probably almost all going to be complaining about how it's "Just another s***ty Destiny" and then next year they'll buy something that's "Just another s***ty Division"

I don't think we can even blame publishers at this point, their job is to get money after all and they sure do.

Well I finally made progress in Bloodbourn. Needs a bit of a change in mentality from what I had in Dark Souls. Mainly how obscenely little death actually matters. I think Kirby has higher stakes for death almost, the nearly has negative stakes so you can just do whether you want or make suicide runs for an item or what ever. So just go buy stuff and then blindly charge at the boss until it dies.

To be fair that sounds like an awesome character power, the ability to essentially save and reload with barely any negative repurcussions. Sounds almost like a certain Undertale set of characters...

Yeah I feel like that was kind of a failure of game design with the game honestly.

DS2 was pretty good because when you died you became Hollow or whatever and that had it's negatives and could be costly to fix, that was a great mechanic if a little annoying at times but it should be.

I hope DS3 has something similar.

I suppose dying a lot and being punished for it might discourage players though Bloodborne has quite a learning curve especially if you're used to DS games so maybe that's why, still perhaps after the first boss they could have introduced a penalty(since you can level up after you get Insight)

On a PS4 community on FB I'm always seeing people say they can't get past the first area so a penalty in the weaksauce tutorial zone would be pretty mean

Blood Vials are also disturbingly common and easy to farm, feel like using hundreds should have had negative effects like turning you in to a beast...which...I think was a bad thing? Never dabbled in that mechanic at all.

You mean Bloodborne. :p

"Bloodbourn" is a pretty badass name for a videogame. A river made out of blood? That's quite metal.
But you know what's more metal? Jaws Unleashed.

This game is awesome, just saiyan. I know it's a little bit old, but who cares?

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

Seriously? I even corrected myself from that >_<

That was the open world shark game right? It sounded pretty rad.

@Steve
Maybe, but I enjoy this a bit more, I didn't like going hollow, I like how my character looks and I don't like seeing them as a corpse.

People already get disturbed from how scary and harsh the game feels. I don't think penalties (nut ones that matter anyway) should be implemented. Also being hollowed gameplay wise, didn't do anything far as I can tell.

Funny, the number of vials my sibling fine can be counted on one hand and he uses them up allot.

@Ultimecia
When you get down to it, that is the most OP power :p

Didn't it as much as half your health? I'm pretty sure there were some items that basically made it do nothing but otherwise it limited your max health down to 50% if you died enough.

I feel like the lack of a death penalty goes against the spirit of these games however Bloodborn is different I guess.

How far is he? Once you can one shot the big fat guys with axes you can get like 3-4 extremely consistently and the first area in general has almost every enemy dropping them even when you're at level 100 :errm: would have thought it'd get less and less generous the stronger you get.

That's 2, and it's a five percent loss, barely noticeable honestly, I know I didn't realize it. In 1 it stopped you from summoning allies to help you or getting invaded by players.

Game. And really 1 is far superior to 2 in terms of story anyway so I don't see the connection.

Hasn't beaten the Hunter, keeps getting wrecked by the beast form. And he does that, I think my sibling is just unlucky with drops. Also runs into like every glitch a game has while I run into almost none of them. And I've looked, it's amazing how the game changes almost the minute my sibling is playing.

In any case this game seems easy to do challenge runs for anyways, like a no heals run.

I need to buy a new capture card at some point, because my current one died. Unless I can somehow fix it, then I'll be at least 100 quid poorer. Although, not sure when I'll buy a new one. All I know is that I want to play and record plenty of console games to Youtube.

About the new Paper Mario games...

Posted Image

Now, this is my main problem with it. There's no diversity. The music might be good, but everything else sucks! Why can't they go back to the good old TTYD days?

I personally thought Super Paper Mario was the best Paper Mario game. Haven't played the new ones however, so I can't say much about them. The artstyle, as always, is really cute.

The best open world shark game, compared to the several knock-offs that came afterwards.
Heck, one of the best open world games ever in my opinion.

Is that the controller I hear? Huh. How does it play exactly?

Also I've been playing The Fighter and my god this game wasn't even out when I was born and yet it's soooo good. It's aged incredibly well and it's good really good details, like how all the menu options are made to feel like you're actually living as a pilot, and when you log in, if you don't put in your name and try to leave the Stormtroopers nice in like they're ready to shoot you. Works allot better than in X-wing where the rebel points a gun at you if you try to go without logging in. Seriously that was so "wat," suddenly I'm not sure the rebels are the good guys :p
It's surprisingly playable as well, everyone in my house is intimidated by the buttons, bit fit the most part I only need to use like four buttons plus the keypad. Why aren't more games like this? Heck even the graphics aren't that bad, basic by today's standards but it's space and everyone is flying spaceships anyway so it doesn't matter! I mean this game is pretty much the reason I want a joystick, the mouse is serviceable but still kind of crap compared to what I know the game was meant to be played on.

The controls are weird and quite complicated at first, but what do you expect? You're controlling a humongous shark! :p
Once you get used to them, the game's pretty easy. The bosses are alright aside from one of them which is pretty epic. Not going to reveal it for you, just watch a playthrough of the game, because I doubt you'll find a copy of it nowadays.

You have to appreciate the realism. If you stop swimming, a 10-second counter starts because sharks need to move to breath. If you jump anywhere on land(yeah, you can do that) the same counter starts again since you need to go back into the water to breath, and stuff, even though in real life great whites can hold it out of the water for quite some time.

One of the best PS2 games ever.

Isn't it per death though? I remember walking around with my health capped at 50% when I was starting out and obviously quite rubbish at it.

I guess he has no points in to Arcane then? They still seem easy to find around that area though, the big troll looking dudes almost always dropped them for me.
And then it just gets silly when you get your Discovery really high.

Really hoping we get fibre optic broadband for DS3 I quite like the PVP in these games but it seems to lag a lot, in my first PVP fight in Bloodborne I was totally wrecking a dude most of the time but then at the end I slashed him like 3 times but apparently hit nothing and he got me from the side -_- he seemed way higher level too would have been a proud win.

Father Gascoinge or whatever? That dude is a tough second boss. DS2's first boss was a joke.
