If they do a dinosaur DLC for it I might be interested in getting it cheap one day.
Someone must've watched a lot of Flinstones.
It's based on the Paleolithic, not the Triassic period, bro. No dinosaurs.

No idea why you'd want that. Mammoths and Sabertooth Tigers are just as awesome, and who knows how much more fauna is there in that game.
Didn't the last one have Yeti DLC?

And didn't both 3 and 4 have magic?

Pretty sure a dinosaur or two could be forgiven here.
The "Magic" in 3 and 4 were actually drug induced visions and dreams. As for the Yeti I'm not 100% positive but the Yeti in the DLC from what I heard were also hallucinations.

As for the dinosaurs it's very likely if not impossible any survived in to the Paleolithic era as there is a nearly 64 million year gap between the Paleolithic and Cretaceous era. The only possibility would be a species of Sauropterygia, which again is very unlikely, although mythological creatures like the Loch Ness Monster are rumored to be Plesiosaurs that have survived in small numbers for millions of years.

Melee sounds completely unviable now. You will more than likely be gunned down mercilessly before you get into melee range.
Stealth, son. Blitz is insane, you can attack people from like 15 feet away and half the time it breaks so you "hit" them without moving

No I'm pretty sure Far Cry 3 had some sort of magical artifact in it I remember picking up some gold thing that had a weird shimmery effect going on.
Never completed the Yeti DLC but they seemed fairly real.

There's also Blood Dragon to consider.

Far Cry does lots of weird s***, cavemen fighting dinosaurs is well within reason.
Plus it's like the most requested thing I've seen so it'll probably happen.

Off the point but you can find a Flintstones car under water in it, that's pretty funny.

Anyway yeah not getting the game unless it has a really cool expansion, it's way too samey for me. Cool era to set a game in but it's still an FPS style game.

Honestly I've heard the opposite from the Jimquisition, Jim Sterling considered it a breath of fresh air for the franchise and gave it an 8/10. Not that I know what that means aside from "he liked it."

It seems to look like the AC4 of Far Cry potentially. At least in some respects.

I think that I might own some of the most difficult games of all time.

Castlevania Bloodlines
Contra Hard Corps
Alien Soldier
Dark Souls
Zelda II
Faster Than Light
Legend of Grimrock

It's no wonder I never seem to beat anything these days.

Can Zelda II even be considered hard? Be careful and you'll more than likely get through the game pretty easily.

I don't think I would have beaten it without using a walk through.

Dark Souls is probably the easiest game on that list. Alien Soldier is probably the hardest.

Daggerfall and Arena's first hour kicks itself into that list IMO. Speaking purely after getting my a*** handed to me on a silver platter despite min-maxing and tailoring my advantages for the class I chose.

Eh, I've seen a lot more who say it's just "More of the same" that the only really new thing is the setting.

AC in general is a very good comparison but I think there's even less than there was with 3 to 4.
I feel like Primal was a fantastic idea but they weren't quite...there yet. Had it released next year with much updated combat it would have been sensational.

Apparently retailers have listed Battlefield 5 as being WW1...can't see it...

But that would be phenomenal, tired of all this futuristic bulls***.

I'm pretty sure EA already confirmed it was modern though they said "Modern, holiday 2016" or something.

I just can't see them risking going back as far as WW1 where gun variety was piss poor and the technology was awful, they'd have to abandon a lot of features that would work in a WW2 game.
WW1 DLC would be epic though.

Wonder if we'll get a drawn out mode featuring trench warfare? That could be pretty cool.

2016 is f***ing ridiculous, sooooooo many good games, soooooo many good movies...
Hopefully they live up to at least half of their hype.

Good games? Maybe.
Good movies? Maybe.

2016 barely even started. We haven't even watched or played most of what is supposed to be the good stuff.

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

I haven't been too impressed by new stuff lately. Fallout 4 was cool. Aside from that I've been sticking to the classics. I even played my Sega earlier.

Well, most of it looks awesome.

I'm sure this years CoD will be even better than last years!

And probably still be hot garbage.

I haven't actually bought any games aside from Crypt of the NecroDancer and Firewatch since Fallout 4 came out. Nothing else has really piqued my interest, it's kind of a bummer. Good for the wallet though!

Call of Duty has never been garbage. It's considered garbage because it's always the same. CoD can be good fun when you're looking for something mindless to play.

I stopped playing Call of Duty after Modern Warfare 2. I tried to give World at War a try but the people who played the game were just garbage. I was trying to reload my gun and ended up getting a 12 kill streak just knifing people while trying to reload with no success.

It's not really mindless at this point though it's way too...not complex but...crowded I guess?

You can't go five seconds without being bombarded by airstrikes, remote controlled bombs, helicopters, special abilities, campers, grenades, rockets, people flying about, turning invisible, teleporting etc etc
There's a million different things happening all at once when it used to be relatively simple.

Ironic that changing it so much kinda ruined it a bit  I see like 1 out of every 100 fans saying they prefer the newer games to MW 1, 2 and WaW.
