I'm gonna make a start on Shadow of Mordor, which I'm really looking forward to. I'm on a bit of a LOTR craze at the moment.
Yeah. Shadow of Mordor looks awesome.
It's the only game where I see the Assassin's Creed and Arkham games' mechanics done right.

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

I'm popping in to GAME today to see if I can buy my copies of Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 and Digimon Story a little early. I know the guys that work there and I'd say we're good friends, so fingers crossed.

I'm already kind of sick of Empire: Total War. It's just rinse and repeat. Build an army, conquer a territory, build an army, conquer a territory. I don't think I will be finishing the campaign.

Anyone have any ideas on the release date of FFIX?

Yeah I know I just wondered if anyone happened to have a more inside scoop in a specific date since I'm too lazy to look myself.

Hacking Toee so I can get NPC stats and equipment info. I want to do the campaign pen and paper style on my D&D nights. So I need s*** tons of data.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

In reference to the DLC discussion I'd like it if they just made games the price they should be, $60 isn't turning over a profit so they're having to build games around DLC to get anything.

If they were $80 then at least we could get more than half a game and DLC would be a bonus like it used to be, not a necessity to have the complete package.

Micro-transactions I don't really mind at this point, so long as they don't ruin game balance if people want to pay, let them. So long as it doesn't infringe on the content of the base game, why not?

At least some games do have satisfying DLC anyway, Far Cry 4's was laughable not sure why I bought the season pass for that s***. Guess I thought the Yeti's thing might be comparable to Blood Dragon...

There's a reason I never buy a season pass. It might be cheaper, but you never know how good the DLC is gonna be. If it's crap, then you saved that money. If it's good, I won't mind paying the extra money for it.

Sometimes they include the season pass with pre orders or day one purchases.

Finally got a chance to play Xenoverse...and holy crap. People have seriously compared this to Tenkaichi and Raging Blast? This is a terrible game. The 3v3 battle mechanic is dreadful, ANYTHING where the teams are uneven is just completely unfair, and in PQ's your AI teammates are such trash that it may as well just be 3v1. There isn't a single thing fun about getting attacked on all sides with absolutely no way out, and even when you're winning, the game's combo system is so simple it's essentially a beat 'em up.

Just because you have the technology to allow 6 fighters on the battlefield at once doesn't mean you should do it.

And the RNG on the drops in PQ's is stupid as all hell too. The worst part is, not only do skills and equipment have a completely random chance of dropping in the first place, but many of them can only be found in an ultimate finish...WHICH HAS A COMPLETELY RANDOM CHANCE OF HAPPENING. You have two layers of RNG for some things, and that's just terrible game design.

I can't believe this is "The best DBZ game in years", I'm glad I missed the last few years, because anything worse than this must be absolutely horrible.

I'm less concerned with how good it is but more with how much you get.

You put so much money up front and they rarely tell you what you get in return.
Another 30 hours of content?
30 minutes?

Just some custom skins for weapons and bug fixes?

On that note, hilarious troll on FaceBook talking about Fallout 4's DLC saying they kept it out of the game just to "steal" your money.
'Cause it's not like FO4 already has hundreds of hours worth of stuff to do already they should totally have added more for no extra profit that makes all the business sense in the world.

Yeah not been interested in DBZ games for years.
The last one I liked was Supersonic Warriors 2 on the DS.

Actually no Attack of the Saiyan's was awesome and the Dragon Ball game was pretty good too. SW2 is easily my favourite though, great little fighting game.

I wonder if they'll ever do DBZ fights justice?

While all of your complaints are valid, we haven't really had a decent DBZ game since Raging Blast 2. Every game since then has been utter trash, although I do like Xenoverse.
