Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

I still need to get the platinum for J-Stars on PS4...on my massive to do list...

Yeah I'm not interested in The Division to be honest, looks like another Destiny to me. It's all like gritty and realistic in it's setting, which is awesome.
But it takes like 5 headshots to kill standard enemies because it's healthbar based not realistic damage.
So I see no real reason to play Destiny in a different setting, essentially. Not really interested in another game about grinding for Legendary loot for hours, especially not when people can steal it from you.

Anyone uncovered the whole Arlen Glass backstory in Fallout 4? Holy s*** that guys story is depressing.

I really like the story of Ghouls in Fallout, they're so needlessly hated yet most are nice people just trying to be accepted.

They aren't needlessly hated. After a time their brains decay to the extent that they become feral. They are time bombs and deserve plenty of caution and fear.

I finally reached level 70 in Witcher 3, for those who say "play the game normal do quests to earn xp" bullcrap, doing main quests and secondary and contracts only earn so much xp in one plathrough, my first playthrough i got to level 34 and on my second i struggled to reach beyond level 50, once you reach to a certain level and if you're 4 levels above the quests, the game only rewards you with 10 xp for doing the mission. Also it's hard to find respawning monster that is above level 50.

so i cheated and exploited the "Path Of Warriors" to reach level 70.

But as someone puts it in Fallouut...what's the difference between them and humans?

How often do Ghouls turn Feral and kill people versus how often normal humans go bad?
Kind of puts it in to perspective how silly the mentality people have in their world is. Yes, the can go bad but so can people and in a much shorter time. Ghouls can live hundreds of years and never hurt anyone.

On that note I'd like to actually see one turn Feral, not sure it ever happens in 1 or 2 but fairly confident it never has in 3, NV or 4. That would be neat.
You hear about it a lot but it never seems to actually happen in your presence.

I was going to play Witcher again but decided to go back to BF4
Just have to download the like 30GB of DLC for it again...

It's pretty awesome how they're STILL releasing map packs for it and updating it, came out over 2 years ago.

Vs CoD where after a year they basically forget about it.

I'm quite into Empire: Total war right now. I tried The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky but it wasn't for me I don't think. Unless it gets way better later on. Which I won't find out as the beginning didn't pull me in.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

I just got Crypt of the NecroDancer, £8 or something with PS Plus.

I'm not usually in to rhythm games but the soundtrack is really cool. Seems like it will get pretty damn hard to keep to the beat while strategizing how you will fight monsters and recognizing their patterns.

Pretty cool game anyway so far as I understand a song plays and you get to roam around a level of a dungeon exploring as much as you can until the song is over then you fall down to the next level, so you have to be quick and get as many coins and items as you can.

Felt kind of awkward playing it on the Vita but it's a cross buy so trying it with the PS4 later.

Cross buy titles are awesome.

It truly was a Shawshank redemption

I've only recently started to get back into gaming, so I realise I'm late to the party here, but DLC is f***ing frustrating. It feels like I either have to pony up money for something that's probably not worth the cost, or feel like I'm playing an incomplete game and not getting the full experience, which really grates on me because I have a bit of a completist obsession (e.g. I just bought Dragon Age: Inquisition without realising it's the third in a trilogy and now don't want to play it because I haven't played the other games).

Back in the day DLCs were not a big deal. I remember LOTR: Battle of Middle-Earth II having an expansion called "The Rise of the Witch-King" which was amazing. That's how they should do it nowadays too, but everybody is just trying to make money. At least some companies have the audacity to lower prices after a while when the DLCs are too many.

Yeah, it's definitely money grabbing. It's seems like most of the time it's just extra maps/items etc, stuff that isn't really pivotal to the gaming experience, but for me still feels like "oh, even though I bought the game, I don't own 100% of the game".

I traded in a couple games yesterday, Halo and Battlefront, and bought Shadow of Mordor and Dragon Age Inquisition. Once I've finished State of Decay I'm gonna make a start on Shadow of Mordor, which I'm really looking forward to. I'm on a bit of a LOTR craze at the moment.

iirc the only reason why they're still releasing map packs for BF4 is because Hardline flopped so damn bad, I remember once BF4 came out, they completely abandoned BF3.

Dragon Age: Origins was free for PS+ members last month, so you missed out unfortunately. Dragon Age 2 iirc was a buggy and overall poor mess. So it may be best just to avoid that one and just read a synopsis of it.

I enjoyed it for what it was, but overall I think DAO is the best of the trilogy of Dragon Age games. I remember it ranking asking the top ten or twenty when I did that beat game ever ranking thing.

If I necro'd that thread, DAO would definitely be near Mass Effect 2 for me.
