Huh, frodo and Sam seem like odd choices for a hack and slash game.
Well, you have to follow the entire movie in the game and the two hobbits are just as important as the other characters. They do have swords and at least Sam fights Shelob with a sword.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

I remember The Two Towers game that was pretty awesome, I sucked at it though could never finish it.
Although it was possibly a demo I played can't quite remember...

Lol in my head they're surprisingly good looking games, screenshots show otherwise...funny how everything seemed to look so real back then but now those are like early DS graphics

I'd love another LOTR game that followed the story, Shadows of Mordor looks pretty meh to me I don't like the idea of being some random dude who probably never existed in the lore, or at least not in the movies/main books(to my knowledge) that and it's a bit too like Assassins Creed.

Shadows of Mordor was quite popular though so maybe there's hope for that yet, playing through the whole story would be epic.

Perhaps if Final Fantasy 7's remake brings back multi-disc games they could do that? That would be so cool.

So apparently this is going to be a thing without Konami.

Awww...Konami are totally going to shut that down unless it's completely nonprofit or they get like 99% of the money from it...

Seen that someone created I think the first Goldeneye level in Unity also, would be great if old classics like that got remade.

Licensing stuff is so annoying it's pretty lame how companies can own the rights to things they will NEVER do anything with anyway. They should have to pay a f*** ton of money to keep licenses they're not using then we'd probably see them get dropped or have something done with them.

Konami shouldn't own the rights to the MGS franchise, Kojima should.

I love the Return of the King game, but oh my god the checkpoints are horrendous.
Never heard of that, what is it?
Game, not the book :p

Official video game based on the movie. It's an adventure "hack and slash" game imo. You play as Aragorn, Gimli or Legolas in one arc, Gandalf in another arc and then Sam and Frodo in a third arc leading up to the destruction of the ring. Was released on PS2, Xbox, Gamecube and PC back in 2003. There's also a slightly different version for the GBA released the same year by the same company.

EA also released Two Towers the year before, the same genre of game and system.

Oh, dude... The memories... That game was so awesome... Can barely remember much, but I remember enjoying it A LOT.

You must be way too used to whiny and weak wittle Frodo from the PJ movies compared to the bad-ass from the books.

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

He doesn't seem that great in the books either...
Granted I haven't gotten very far there either...
Though I will say I haven't seen the movies, though of my experience with the books are any indication the movies are probably the entire reason so many love LotR...

Surely novels from the 30s and 40s are mainly famous because of early 2000s movies, despite having had several adaptations during the 70s. Taking my father into account, I can clarify that LoTR was the s*** long before Peter Jackson came to make the "a'ight" adaptation, since my father was a huge LoTR nerd.

I hope on FFIX HD they increase the stealing chance. I almost got killed on Black Waltz III because it wouldn't give me a silver glove.

I played the demo of the normal version, didn't really see the appeal.
Dragon's Age is probably better.

I haven't played any of those either

Been seeing a lot of it lately and have been mildly interested...
Perhaps I'll get the next one or any kind of ultimate edition with all the DLC.

Dragon Age Origins was great. The second one was dreadful. I don't know about the third but it looked mediocre to me.

I played it on my Gamecube and Wii, now I play it emulated, and sometimes the PC port. Unfortunately, like another great EA LotR game, (Battle for Middle Earth [2]) the only way of playing it is either buying a DVD for $100 on ebay or pirating it.
I love building PCs. If you have any questions about it feel free to ask. I can help you with almost any kind of PC you'd want to build.
