I never liked Spyro. It was too easy for me.

I wish there were better Doctor Who games out there. I want to see one made where you play as all of his incarnations from William Hartnell all the way up to the 12th. I can imagine Patrick Troughton's being about stealth and running away from things , Jon Pertwee's being all action orientated then Tom Baker has more puzzle solving aspects to his levels.

It's an idea anyway.

Agreed. Gahhh I still have nightmares about The Eternity Clock. What amused me about it though was that I later saw it being sold for €10 dearer on disc than what I paid for it on the PSN.

Ha ha, that game was so bad. It highlighted everything that's wrong with the current Doctor Who.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

My friend got the platinum for that...or no not sure he did actually, he had to fully complete it like 4 extra times because one trophy wouldn't show up.

Actually yeah I think he gave up on it due to that lol.

I don't think games where you have to play an intelligent character work so well, it's always a predetermined route to the goal, finding the blood stain behind the couch etc all you ever have to do is look everywhere not actually use your brain to work things out.

Good god.
Think Eternity Clock is bad, play the NCIS game...

You get a platinum literally for completing it, lol, and it takes like maybe an hour if you're not trying.

I want another True Crime game or something like it, that game was awesome.

From my experience, if you pay close attention to the dialogue/FMV scenes, you're in for a killer story in FF8. Now I feel they could've worked on Squall's and Seifer's rivalry more, and gave some more background for Ultimecia instead of thrusting her out in the end of disc 3. Some more background into Squall and Rinoa's relationship could've shown more depth.

I actually liked MGR:R I wasn't expecting stealth to happen, nor did I have high expectations. Sure it's a Metal Gear game...but it isn't Solid (pun intended).

It's a good faces paced slasher game but it has no depth...like at all.

Can't remember what the goal is but I'm pretty sure the villain at the end is totally justified but Raiden is all NO, freedom! I am a Samurai!...you're not dude, it even explains that he's self taught
It kind of craps on MGS4 too, Raiden wasn't going to be a soldier, not a cyborg one but then he is and it doesn't matter...ok then, just change that major decision and ignore his son.

It would have been much better if it was canon and set during the time Raiden had to save Sunny from Area 51, Area 51, imagine all the easter eggs they could have put in there...

In terms of story I think IV is the best FF, at least if you're playing the DS version anyway. Golbez is an awesome bad guy.
Boss theme is the s***:

I hear great things about IV.

On the topic of FF. What was so great about VII? Sephiroth?

I don't like the look of the DS Final Fantasys. The graphics are awful. I have the third one and whilst it is a faithful remake of the original nes version, the graphics really let it down.

The music, the enemies, the battle system and the characters. The story isn't too bad either. I think the first game will always be my favourite. So simplistic and basic but still really fun.

I liked the battle system in FF7 until you start getting Mid-High grade materia. Then you can just sit back, let counterattack+KOTR do the work for ya.
I didn't like Cloud TBH, didn't he adopt Zack's personality?

Speaking about characters I don't like, Holy shizz on a stick! SHUT UP SELPHIE!

I need to find out where I can get the first FF

Yeah Vii and IX for me are the most fun to play, VII has a better story though it's a bit more mature.

Like when Aeris dies, that scene is just...
:'(
I actually cried at it once, only the Pokémon Movie had succeeded in making that happen before it.
The graphics may be terrible but they still pulled everything off really well.

Sephiroth I don't like too much, he is cool but most of the time he's just talking nonsense, for me he doesn't really make the game. Especially considering his ultimate attack, Super Nova:

wut

His tune is awesome though wouldn't expect that from it's time.

I'd like to see Goku make the Sun expand and engulf the whole freaking solar system...

Doesn't that make Sephiroth a sun buster?

Cloud has Supernova durability

FF1 is on the Nintendo and there is a brilliant remake of it for the Gameboy Advance. There's also an updated version on the iPad which looks really impressive. The Nintendo version can be downloaded from the wii-shop. Or you could find other ways to download the game which we aren't allowed to discuss.

I never bothered completing it but I got FF II for the iPod a couple of years ago, it was cool just couldn't be bothered with it on the tiny screen.
Ł7.99 gone...

Wish we were getting the FF VII remake it would be so freaking awesome with today's technology, maybe that could save Square Enix?

Sephiroth is a sun buster with the power of science!
Everyone on...Earth? I don't think it ever says they're on Earth, yet clearly they have to be, anyway everyone on that planet has solar level durability and could clearly one shot Frieza by power scaling because that's how things work.

One successful game can't save Square Enix. Game companies need to have a run of successes to keep going. Some more original rpgs like Lost Odyssey might be a better idea.

Well, it could keep them going a while.

I mostly just want a remake, that tech demo was just torture knowing it was never going to come in to fruition as an actual game.

I think it steadily declined once they switched from SquareSoft to Enix.

Too much focus on graphics and pointless game mechanics, did anyone really want it to deviate from the classic turn based system?

I like the DS exclusive FF games but they're not really FF just mediocre RPG games.
