Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

That might just be the only way.

Kind of losing hope for it really, if it was being made right now there's no way something wouldn't have been leaked about it. So even with all the talk about it they probably aren't making it or talking about it yet.

It's weird that they never bring it up though but maybe that's because they want people to forget about it...

There should be a gamer gambling site.
So you can place bets on stuff like "will DayZ get finished by 20202020?" screw sports, that's what I want to bet about.

The next Elder Scrolls can keep the map size Skyrim was, just fill it up. That seems to be the biggest problem alot of Open World games have. Having a large world seems to be the biggest goal first, filling it up afterwards is an afterthought. Skyrim was empty because they had this large world with barely anything in it. You would think of seeing herds of Mammoth roaming around without Giants to tame them yet. Or a little bit more than just your generic Giant and tent with Mammoth cheese on the side. The chances of you getting attacked in a Plains area by a Dragon and by a random animal seems to be in the same range sometimes. Despite them having 55 different creatures to populate the world with (aside from races of human and mer) there wasn't quite alot out there except for caves or bandit hideouts which were actually pretty well hidden for the most part. It's like a Ghost-Town.

I want a modern day Risk. I don't think they've got one of those. They have a few different kinds, but none with the world how it is now continent/country-wise. That'd be more fun than trying to conquer some country that hasn't existed since 1750 or something.

"No, you've taken my Yakenistan!"
"f***, you took Moscow!"

Blergh. I want updated armies and methods of taking a country. Air force, navy, etc.

Civilisation V is probably the closest you can get to that.

Yeah it was really boring.

At least with Fallout any emptyness is fitting for being an apocalyptic wasteland and anything you do find is almost guaranteed to contain something whacky like a cannibal or someone who tried to turn in to a ghoul by living in an irradiated area and predictably died.

I hope new open world games become a lot less scripted, once you've explored a bit it becomes obvious where things will be like an enemy always spawns at this bridge or round this corner and will wait there to "ambush" you.

Dragon spawns in Skyrim vary, you say?

I've given up fast travelling because despite my Warrior and Mage classes doing relatively fine and coming across dragons at their actual word walls or occasionally a roaming dragon, my Thief class is attacked by a dragon every single time he steps outside of a cave or building, or fast travels, and he's by far the lowest levelled of my characters and hasn't even reached Whiterun yet, always Elder dragons too.

It's one of the most annoying parts, it's great having something to fight but not when I just want to go and sell off some items or craft a new set of armour, and definitely not when my character is oriented towards stealth and isn't exactly great in a proper fight.

Speaking of E3 this year, I'm actually quite curious, we tend to have an on/off thing, every other year is great, or to me at least. 2013 had a great E3 in my opinion while 2014 was at least a passing grade, however as Pelador may remember, I stayed up for a whole night on a college day for 2013's E3, something which I did not repeat for 2014's. Dead Island 2 and all that were interesting but nothing really attention grabbing came up.

So...Fire Emblem, anyone?

Plus they confirmed a looooooot of stuff for February 13th;

New Nintendo 3DS/XL
Majora's Mask 3D
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate

And release dates for Codename STEAM, Xenoblade Chronicles 3D and some other stuff

Gotta be one of my favourite Directs

Haven't been able to enjoy a Fire Emblem game since Shadow Dragon. Purely based on the art style of the cutscenes. Here's hoping they make the female characters look more realistic this time.

Majora's Mask I will get just because. Don't really enjoy playing the game or anything but it's a cool thing to own.

Monster Hunter. I just can't bring myself to kill animals who are only minding their own business. The idea makes me feel uncomfortable.

Was there any other news?

I've wanted to get into Fallout for awhile, but I don't think I have the hardware to get any of the games.
How come? Shouldn't take too much to run it on a PC I wouldn't think, the 360 and PS3 could run them albeit buggy versions.

It's really daft and funny there's so much strange crap the find in the wasteland.

To be honest I think all the bugs and stuff are half the fun, severed heads flying around, enemies randomly flying up in to the air.

Quite a few times I've been so obviously screwed as a Deathclaw runs towards my level 4 character and then it shoots off in to the sky and dies when it lands...

Besides that though, it's an interesting world harsh and bleak but funny with it.
Plus you get a mini nuclear warhead launcher, what could go wrong? :p

I wouldn't mind another Elder Scrolls game if there was no Fallout announcement, so long as it was absolutely huge Skyrim felt...empty took me like 40 hours to do basically everything and I wasn't using a guide, until I realized there's just a handful of quests before I've 100%'d it.
Would prefer Fallout though, Witcher 3 should already provide that next gen fantasy fix.
Yeah I just thought most of the games were only for Xbox or PlayStation consoles. I have a PC that should be able to run most of them.

But where should I start?

What do you mean? What game?

Everything before 3 is turn based and then 3 and New Vegas are open world third or first person games, so take your pick.

With 3 and New Vegas it doesn't particularly matter they're set 200 years apart IIRC so the stories aren't related just in the same world with NV having references to the past.

I think some of the older ones are more connected to each other but you can play either of the "recent" ones first without missing anything, though 3 will obviously be missing some mechanics and weapons etc present in NV.
So my choice would be 3 just to introduce you to it, don't know much about the old games...which I might play actually.

What is the significance of the new 3DS? I thought it was like a totally new handheld but it's basically just the same as other upgrades like Vita to Vita Slim.
Kind of predictable that they'd do an upgrade was hoping for a whole new thing, some kind of tablet instead of a dual screen could be cool.

Yuck. I hate that style for the character portraits. The cell shaded models don't look nearly as bad but damn I wish they'd get past this current style of anime drawing. The 3D battles look like s*** too. I will be keeping show battles firmly switched off if I can get over my hatred of the art style used.

Also I hope they get rid of combined battles. That's an annoying feature that isn't needed.

pair up option is back for this game, its a pretty popular feature
was going to do an analysis but serenes forest already has one and a better one but ill make a quick summary of what they/i had

- it appears there are at least two armies, one with western theme(roman look) the other eastern
- FE is notable for its dragons as some of the only big creatures you face in the game but there was a giant golem, so maybe there
will be other giant boss battles, there were also a ogre being fought, may be similar to the monsters feature in sacred stones
- blue haired women is a dancer
-obviously new weapons and classes, which features maces as a new weapon alongside others
-a change to the weapon triangle
- big change to the core gameplay
-the decisions you make in the story now heavily affect the story progression
-creating ur avatar is prolly back
-more of an ice theme in the game, with many more ice platforms and maybe even ice magic in the game, maybe more so than just a few tomes like in past games
-halberdier class might be back?
- theres an alternate world/ other world like place

Really, no feet again?

I get that it kind of made FE:A unique, but the characters not having feet in battle kinda bothered me.
