So what exactly happens when you drop a title from sci-fi genre subscriptions? Do they still charge you for it? Does anyone know? Because I'm pretty sure I've dropped like 10 titles so far, and if that's the case I might as well s*** out purple monkeys.

Well on their website it says this about cancelling/deleting titles:

You can make changes to your subscription (by adding or deleting selections) at any time you wish. However, there are a few things to keep in mind:
Issues and shop items are reserved for customers on a first-come, first-served basis. If a title becomes very hot, and a lot of subscribers add it right before it is released, some customers may be backordered and get the issue late, and a few may not receive it at all. Most comics have an "order cut-off" several weeks before release, so we may be unable to get extras at the last minute. It's a good idea to look ahead for any titles you may want to get in advance.

When you remove a selection from your subscription, you will still receive any issues that have already been released and pulled for your shipment. Please do not e-mail us to ask us to remove a book because you decided after its release that you don't want it.

We typically update subscription shipments to reflect new issues on Wednesday between noon and 6 p.m. Eastern time. Any changes you make before we run the update will be reflected immediately. Changes made after the pull is run will not affect that day's isssues. If you add a title on Wednesday that comes out the same day, you may want to check your shipment on Thursday and see if the book was pulled for you. You can view all of your current and past shipments on your account page.

So basically you can delete any titles you want anytime you want but if an issue has come out and they haven't shipped it to you yet, they will still ship it. But if no issues have come out since you added it and then deleted it there should be no problem.
