I've never met anyone, nor heard anywhere, someone saying that they hate or dislike DBZ. I just remembered again because I just came across this and my mind was full of what!!!! The world would be a pretty bland place if everyone liked the same thing. Actually to be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of the anime anymore. There are way better shows out there.

Lack of depth and character development is a reason a lot of people dislike it, and it's probably known that I'm rather critical of it on those fronts as well. Not that I'd claim to hate it, because it's not that kind of series so you shouldn't really expect it. Basically, everyone has different opinions.

I don't really know anyone that really hates it they just either watched it as a kid and now nothing it or they have fond memories of it but don't really watch it because anime isn't their thing since Japan is for weirdos etc etc. Story wise there's a lot wrong with it but overall there's nothing really wrong with it, hating it is just a waste of time.

You're absolutely right on there always being haters and people with different opinions, but I never for a second had that thought about DBZ. I guess when you love something so much, you just don't think of these types of things until it's actually brought up. Damn you Amazon!
