Yes, yes I hate to start this debate again, but... If Pui Pui is stronger than Kaioshin (and he knows/expects it), why is he surprised when Goku and co. are too? Chapter: 452 (DBZ 258), P1.4-5 Context: after Goku kills Yakon Kaioshin: “S-so that’s why these 3 have such composure...In a pinch, they can put forth tremendous power, like Son Goku displayed momentarily…Wh…what a completely unbelievable fact…that I, Kaioshin, should be thrown into a panic by humans of the lower world…” Chapter: 462 (DBZ 268), P7.5 Kaioshin: “…In-in this case…If I had known that there were people like you guys, who though human greatly surpassed my power…Th-there would have been that other method too…” I just want to point out that Pui Pui would be considered to be a human, and probably Yakon too. "No.18: “I’m surprised. To think that a flesh-and-blood human could be so good, even if you are an alien. Is this man called ‘Son Goku’ even stronger?” |

Kaioshin is a stupid blundering coward. That's why. |

The power Goku and company used "greatly" exceeded his expectations. |

He had doubts about whether the Saiyans were as strong as Pui Pui. That's why he wanted them all to gang up. |

It's not outright stated he wanted them to gang up except against Yakon. |

Well it might as well be. First Kaioshin is shocked that they want to play rock paper scissors and can't believe Vegeta fights alone. This shows he thought they should all gang up on Pui Pui. Then when Vegeta goes to fight he warns him he is under-estimating Babidi. So the implication seems obvious enough to me. |

I'm curious to know what strength level Kaioshin is expecting the saiyans to be? Android arc level? |

I guess so, he knew Goku beat Frieza but not anything after that apparently. What an ignorant fool. I mean King Kai, one of his highest ranking subordinates had just died and he apparently didn't have the slightest interest in finding out what had happened to cause it. Nor did he, while going to Earth, even think to ask King Kai "hey, i'm going to Earth which is in your quadrant; has anything important happened there that I should know about?"
