I know nothing of the first list other than Dr. Slump, no surprise that ended up there but yeh can't really comment on that one. Bit of a surprise to see Kuroko above PoT, never realized it was that popular but the rest of it looks 'right' I guess. |

I love how HxH hasn't had a chapter in over a year and a half and has had many many hiatus' but still manages to grab second place... If only Togashi would be consistent with it, it would totally have knocked OP off the top spot by now. What's that Hikaru no Go like? Never heard of it until now, guess if it's that high up it might be worth checking out. Surprised Yu Yu Hakusho isn't higher than that from what I've read of the manga it seems consistent quality at least and the story is obviously good(better than DB by far imo) |

I'm surprised that Yu-Gi-Oh got on the last list but Death Note didn't. Also thought that YYH would have been higher than 10th. HxH has always been popular despite the hiatus. It normally sells around the same as Naruto for each new volume, which makes it second highest in Jump after OP. This is without a consistent release schedule. |

I'm surprised Death Note didn't make it onto the list. It's apparently one of the best mangas/anime out there, at least from every forum I've ever visited... |

Would have thought FMA would be up there but I guess if it's just statistics from Japan Hikaru no Go is going to interest them more than western forlk...but still surely FMA should be better than that and tennis? And I like Gintama better but would have thought FMA would have topped it overall. Wonder how vastly different those would be using worldwide statistics... |

I was also thinkin' YYH should be higher, but hell if we go by quality Bleach is more suited at the #50 spot at beat. I have no idea what the highschool and orange road things are, but given the popularity of the rest of the stuff it kinda makes sense. Oh yeh also don't know what the #2 thing is, just looked it up and I might've seen it up somewhere (lookin' at the character designs n stuff) but yeah. Didn't pay DN much mind but considering how so many hail it as the best thing ever it is surprising that it didn't end up there. |

...is this why people say mango or is it just because it's to be funny instead of manga? Heard of almost none of those ones guess they're below the 10's for a reason. Still though, I see people rave about DN more than Naruto, Bleach and OP combined, wonder why it's liked in the west so much but seemingly not so much in Japan? Lol, how far down is Fairy Tail? Thought it was still really popular there... Though in saying that maybe the Japanese are all just crazy, hence some of the placing. |

Death Note was massive in Japan, smashed sales records when it was first released. Which is why I'm surprised that it's down as low as 11, behind the likes of Bleach which has fallen massively in popularity. Strange that Toriko is so high, it's an enigma that series. Jump pushes it like crazy, it rates well in the TOC and here too, yet it's sales are pretty medicore and it's movie performed poorly as well. |

In that first post I know 2 off the first list, and then all of them except Highschool! Kimen-gumi and Kimagure Orange☆Road. What's with the star.... Who actually made this list? How was it compiled? Anyway however it was made I'm surprised that Astro Boy is so low. Thought that was DBZ level at one point. |
