Only thing I could do was try and get to a secluded place of shelter in the countryside. But I'm sure others would have the same idea. I would actually be more concerned about other people trying to rob or kill me for food and supplies than any zombies. I doubt I'd survive to be honest. Especially if I couldn't get to shelter. |

Win. Seriously though me and my friend have been mentally prepared for it for years I can sever family ties easily and not be defeated by feelings. As long as it's not running zombies but just plain old walking ones I think I'd survive ok. Would obviously die eventually but there's only 4000 people in this town and it's surrounded by empty forests to live in. Winter would probably take out most of the zombies too. It sounds like an interesting turn in boring life at least if you feel you're never going to amount to anything a zombie apocalypse would kick you in gear and make you survive. |

I wouldn't recommend using forests. It's too hard to see zombies coming. You want open spaces like fields or moorland. Living on a boat would be ideal too. |

It depends on what kind of zombies. If they are slow (they are suposed to be after some time) they shouldn't be a problem to anyone. If they are fast in begining (few days), the same thing would happend like in World War Z which means no way of surviving (unless staying in house with enough suply to live couple of months and ofc not exposing yourself in any way), but that would be simply imposible... Only chance would be getting to side of land that doesn't have many peoples around, but again the humans would form gangs or something similiar and steal/kill because it's apocalype and no one cares about them... |

I have an emergency zombie plan all in my head (which is just what happens when you're bored in highschool). I know a guy who lives in a relatively secluded area which includes fresh water, so it'd merely be a case of hauling a*** there to hold up with him. Farming is something New Zealand does well, so we should be able to grow all the food we need. And then you've got the typical New Zealand country mindset where you've got a skin as thick as oak, so brawling through a small group of zombies wouldn't be a problem (unless you're one of dem city folk with dem flying machines!). Of course, that's only if the pandemic reaches here. Considering how small and isolated my country is, chances are I'll just sit at home watching it all on the news. |

Probs try to help whoever I can without being a dick. I guess there's the whole survival thing, but then I don't really see the point if we lose our humanity in the process not giving a s*** about each other. Probably work with a few people to get my whole block (which is p massive) working together. Like if all our garden fences were taken down, there'd basically just be massive open space for people to pool together, then just blockade outside entrances to the gardens, doors, and windows, and go from there. Weapon wise... lol. England's got pretty tight gun laws, so getting those would be pretty difficult. Plus my gun friend who knows a s***load about them says it takes an average of half a year for someone to learn the basics... and that's just for a pistol. |

Steal everything from a store, a gun store, stay in my home, and barricade the doors/windows. |

I'd try to avoid doing anything where lots of people might have the same idea. Or going anywhere where lots of people might want to go. I wouldn't want to try and drive either. Walk everywhere and try to stay clear of people or dense areas. |

only problem with that is that all the places where people might want to go are where most of the resources you'll need at some point are going to be |

Perhaps we would be best studying how people used to survive before supermarkets? I recall it was mostly a diet of bread, oats, milk and water with some seasonal veg thrown in when a harvest was good. Tough times, even tougher if Zombies were roaming everywhere. |

Forest is the worst place to go to. Also, I don't think zombies are affected by weather. They can survive anything besides a blow to the head. I would be screwed during an apocalypse. My family would pretty much get us killed/severly weaken our chances. I wouldn't be able to just leave them either. Also, Pelador, why do you like all of your posts?

Zombies are affected by the weather in the same way that any corpse would be. Wild animals would also be a huge problem for them. Although in my country there aren't any wild animals that are big enough to trouble human sized creatures. I like my own posts because it's like my signature. |

Keep it going with that. Zombies usually roam in packs or herds of a lot of them. I doubt a single animal could cause any problems. They would gang up on it and they just need one bite to kill them. What about zombie animals? That would be even more dangerous than human zombies. Could run faster and hunt better like a zombie wolf. |
