Crazy Awesome Legend

There are some surely legendary fights coming up this year. I haven't seen contests like this in years. Champions could be overthrown, surprises may very well be in store for some. Whatever happens, I'm expecting epicness at every fight. Saul Canello Alverez vs Floyd Mayweather. If Alverez can't stop him then surely no one ever will. Two of the greatest welterweights we've seen since Ray Robinson and Tommy Bell over 50 years ago. Gonna be fun. I predict a Mayweather win by points decision. Nathan Cleverly vs Sergey Kovalev. This might not be nearly as big a fight as the Mayweather fight but it is going to be just as exciting. It's Nathan's fifth defence of the WBO light heavyweight title and he could very well lose the fight if he executes the wrong game plan or gets into a brawl. Again this is gonna be fun. I predict a Cleverly win by points decision. Tyson Fury vs David Haye. Again no where near as big as the Mayweather fight. Heck it's not even for a title. Undefeated heavyweight Tyson Fury is set to fight the much more experienced David Haye. This is one of those fights that will likely end in one big punch. That's what makes it exciting plus the fact that Fury is unpredictable and undefeated. I predict a Haye win by knockout. Vladimir Klitchko vs Alexander Povetkin. This is for the heavyweight championship of the world and we could very well see Vladimir lose his titles. Povetkin is a very dangerous opponent. Probably the most dangerous Vladimir's ever faught. However Povetkin showed in his last fight that he is vulnerable to the jab and Vladimir has one of the best jabs in the business so that could be a problem. However it seems that when Vladimir fights world class fighters, he can't knock them out. So I predict a points win for Vladimir. He'll be too slippery for Povetkin and keep holding him off with the jab. I'm sure there will be more epic fights in between that I haven't mentioned because I am ignorant. If you know of any possible fantastic lineups happening, feel free to post them. One thing's for sure though, none of these should be stinkers. |
